The girl that checked me out was nice, but considering how unwelcomed I felt I will shop online instead of going into the store again."

"Absolutely no idea what’s going on with the customer service here. Felt judged walking in. The “rude” employees obviously still work here and after my experience I won’t be coming back. I was very disappointed and had never been in this store before as I’m a big fan of J crew. We had gone in after some dinner at ichibans. No I was not dressed in any fancy way whatsoever. No I was not dressed in brand names items. I had on casual sweatpants and a t shirt. My mother and I were not given any assistance whatsoever. We were looked at and ignored. There was another family in there and one of the employees simply gave us a blank stare when he walked by. No the family no longer needed any assistance. I overheard the father telling the employee that “that was all and thank you”. As we were shuffling through clothes another employee walked by(There was two there, female and male) she looked at us and simply walked on. We tried to get her attention multiple times but she just wasn’t having any of it. She would turn and “fold clothes” her back faced to us. When we eventually did she gave us no help or assistance simply telling us “it’s over there” in a monotone voice. She then went to go assist the family and see what else they needed. We were not given any assistance upon walking in nor were the employees polite or helpful to us. Ever heard “Don’t judge a book by its cover”? This must not apply here to the employees. Imagine how it is to work here. We won’t be returning although I’ve been tempted to walk back in with brand name designer clothes on and see if I’ll be assisted then."
