"We went to breakfast after an overnight trip to Blowing Rock. The location was beautiful with a senior view. We were seated quickly and the interior decor was beautiful. We both ordered omelettes with sausage potatoes and toast. The omelettes were ok but a little overdone. Toast was severed dry with no butter or jelly. Great venue but food was very average at best. I would go back to try again."
"Had a great time at Timberlake Restaurant in Chetola Resort while enjoying the Christmas lights. Gotta say, the wings were fantastic – super crispy and packed with amazing flavor. If you're in the area and craving some good eats, it's worth a visit."
"We only tested the breakfast but it was great. Very friendly staff and the lodge decor is great. The kid's menu has plenty of choices and the portions are large. The omelet is good but not the best I ever had and the grits were a little bit dry. I would recommend to stick with the classics or the eggs Benedicts."
"We had drinks at the bar, and they were delicious. The staff was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. We stopped in for a quick libation and ended up staying for several hours. We were back for Thanksgiving. It was perfect in every regard."
"I went to Timberlakes for lunch and had an overall terrible experience. There was only one server working and we sat at the bar for several minutes before even being acknowledged. Once we were given menus, the server was unable to answer our questions about some menu items. The “vegan impossible patty melt” is labeled as vegan but has thousand island sauce on it. When we asked if this was vegan, the waiter said he thought so but wasn’t sure and we had to ask him to check if this was true. I have a dairy allergy, so this is extremely important for me to know. Once he checked with the chef, he was told it did contain dairy. It is extremely misleading that this burger is titled “vegan” but is made with non-vegan ingredients. We also had to remind him about our drink order after 15 minutes. We waited 40+ min for our food even though there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Once our food came, we were extremely disappointed. We were given an impossible patty with onion and bread. No other toppings were included on the burger, even though “lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes” were listed on the menu. When we brought this to our waiters attention, he said they should have had other toppings, and then walked away without fixing the problem. The burger was $17+ for a slice of bread, patty, and onion. This overall experience was awful and I will not be returning to the restaurant again. It was a waste of money and time."
