"I didn’t feel I got the attention to my health questions answered prior to seeing Dr. Hassan at Elmhurst Medical. He answers every question, goes over bloodwork and screening reports with you, and truly has the best interest of his patients at heart. Yes, there is a bit of a wait before getting seen. But what doctor’s office doesn’t have a wait? I would rather wait and get detailed answers and explanations, than wait and get rushed. If you’re looking for a doctor who cares, book an appointment with Elmhurst Medical, you won’t regret it."

"The doctor is incredibly kind and patient. I often leave my doctor appointments feeling rushed and uncared for but that is not the case here. The doctor is very thorough and I believe that increases the wait times. I would rather wait here than be rushed at another facility that doesn’t care as much and isn’t as thorough but if you’re in a hurry this might not be a great option."

"Was a new patient. Was scheduled on one of their "busiest days." Overbooked. Waited 2 hours to be seen. Incompetent staff AND the PA couldnt take my blood. Dr's wife = PA. She said that they would cover the costs for a nurse to come to my house to take my blood since they couldn't do it. Waited two weeks for no one to show up or communicate with me. I had to call the office and finally have them put the order in that they should've did 2 weeks prior. Got a text from the lab saying that the office tried to charge my insurance instead of covering the cost like the PA said they're obligated to since they failed to give me what I needed as a patient. I needed the blood work done for several health issues. It was a complete waste of time to deal with this disorganized and inconsiderate office. For their patient volume, they should have more than just ONE medical assistant. Cheapest, most uncomfortable hard chairs for a waiting room. I have back pain and it was hell. If your wait time is so long, at least have decent seating for your patients. Was hot, they didn't bother having AC for their patients but had it in their little rooms where the staff goes. If you like waiting 2 hours, sitting in a hot, small waiting room, and getting nothing done, this is the place for you. Any other place is better than this dump."

"I literally love it here. I live in Astoria and it is so convenient- the doctors are patient, open and kind. Facility is bright and clean. Staff is responsive and easy to reach. Plan ahead and you’ll have no issues. Schedule your appointment on a day you have time and bring a book or something- the care is absolutely worth the wait. ❤️"
