"Gross incompetence all around, steer clear. I would not use this practice again, and I would never see Dr. Breslin again. The doctor: Dr. Breslin has an ego issue. Each time I spoke with him about very painful side-effects from the medication he prescribed, he blamed the issue on something else. I asked for instructions on how to wean off of a steroid medication that my primary care doctor told me was dangerous to be on for as long as I had been. He REFUSED TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION because if I wasn't taking this steroid, I would not be treating the disease. A few days later, I was contacted because I need to get off this medication ASAP because it's not safe for long-term use. I am seeing a new GI, and the first comment she made was "why would anyone prescribe this medication to you? It will not have any impact on your disease." The practice: Getting through to a human on the phone is a part-time job. I was bullied into making an appointment in order to get them to refill a prescription that is dangerous to stop abruptly. I was told by the person making my appointment that they had lost all of my records and needed to start from scratch with providing my info and insurance. This took about 30 minutes and I scheduled an appointment for 2/5/23 at 2:30 PM - the soonest appointment which was about 4 months out from when I called. When I called to cancel that appointment later, I was told that there was never an appointment set for me. 1/3/24 UPDATE: I received a call from the office asking to reschedule my 2/5/23 appointment to another date because Dr. Breslin has a conflict. This is the appointment that "doesn't exist" to be cancelled."
