Dr. Ketan Hirapara

"My son's girlfriend died in my home 2 weeks ago from a fentanyl overdose I take care of a 95 year old mother who is an invalid I take care of an autistic 47 year old son I went there to change doctors psychiatrists because I did not like my last one my primary doctor is in the same building as this doctor but the procedure in protocol call for me to see a psychiatrist for my medications which include.25 Xanax. After hearing me out about all the problems I've been having he asked me why I was speaking so fast I told him because I'm from New York and I'm very stressed he then told me about the danger of xanax. I take .25 a needed. I told him I am award of this and I am not addicted my primary care Dr who works for robert wood said protocol is for patients to see psychiatric for controlled meds. I told this office and the psychologist mot psychiatrist in this office he wasted my time. I them went upstairs in same building to my Dr ive been seeing for 15 yrs he agreed to prescribe my meds"

"I do not recommend this doctor. I’ve been seeing this doctor since mid March. I have a tailbone issue as I fell and it became swollen. Dr. Hirapara and a doctor in my family recommend to get a cortisone shot. I took that shot in March but it didn’t work well. Dr. Hirapara recommended a second shot while the doctor in my family recommended physical therapy. I took 15 sessions of therapy and it helped a little bit but I wasn’t a 100% cured so my family doctor recommended that I do an MRI and take a second cortisone shot if needed. My issuance company took very long to approve the MRI but once it was approved Dr. Hirapara only placed an MRI for my spine and not my ossicles (the area which was causing me pain). I do not understand why he was giving me a shot in my SI joint which is near my tailbone but I had to do an MRI for my spinal cord. My spine MRI report came back completely normal as expected since I do not have any issues with my spine. I still have just as bad pain in my tailbone and it is the end of August."
