"My recent visit to the doctor’s office felt like a sitcom. First, they insisted on changing my insurance info, causing unnecessary chaos. The staff was cool, but when I asked for a drug test, they said I had to go somewhere else for urine or stick around for blood work. I chose blood work, but surprise – the lab wouldn’t do it there! After some back-and-forth and demanding a manager, turns out I could’ve just done a urine test in their own place from the start. Seriously, do these guys know what’s happening? Plus, who knew LabCorp could be so picky about what tests they’ll do? Communication and common sense seem to be in short supply at this place. It’s like they’re playing a game of medical charades, and nobody knows the rules."
"Not sure why this location has only 2 stars I’ve been coming here for years for both me and my toddler. Both mine and my child’s doctors are amazing. The wait time depending on the time you book your appointment is pretty reasonable most times me and my child get seen under 10 minutes upon arrival and sometimes if theirs an influx of sick people the wait can be about 30 mins which is understandable."
"Doctors are good, haven’t had any issues with them. Receptionist was rude multiple times. She doesn’t listen and just responds to what she thinks you said. I received a drug test at the lab on site and asked about my results. The lab does not do urine drug test ONLY blood. When I tried to explain this the receptionist cut me off multiple times and when I asked for her to stop, placed me on 20+ min hold for manager. She said: “ you would have been the only person to ever receive a drug test here we don’t do that!”. The manager agreed and said I didn’t not get the drug test without reviewing my labs. When I go to pick my forms up, I had drug test results. These people don’t know what the practice offers and basically called me a liar and told me to go to another facility to get test done that I did not need. I will not be returning to the practice. I don’t want to deal with people who don’t listen to patients or review information before speaking. No apology was offered. I was just handed my papers as if nothing had happened."
"They need to close this location down. The most unprofessional, irresponsible and low ranking customer service I have experience ever in Healthcare. Before this location became Optum, it was Riverside Medical. Riverside Medium was 10000% better in terms of customer service and thats why i was with them for over 15 years. But since Optum bought out Riverside, it's a completely 180% when downhill in performance. This Optum location has put my issue on the back burner since January 2023 and now it is September 2023 and they still will not call me back to explain or offered a solution. I called over 30 times basically begging for someone to explain, left voicemails, emails and sent complaints but not one call back. I spoke to some of the girls in the front desk, but they basically acted like it wasnot their problem and that they will let the manager know blah blah blah-It's pathetic honestly. That was the same run around speech I was told months before, even multiple times that same month. The lack of taking accountability is replusive and everyone that works in that office needs to get a different job, one that doesn't involve any human interaction because they give out false information, do not follow up and take no responsibility for when they mess up. Employees like that makes the company look bad so people will refuse to come back."
"We waited for over 3 weeks for a follow up appointment for my 4 year old & 4 month old well child visit (to get his shoots). Our appointment was at 11:45am. We got there at 11:40am and the waiting room was full. UNACCEPTABLE during a pandemic when all kids are still unvaccinated. After an hour, I finally asked when we would be called and the front desk people said we were up next for registration. Ten minutes later we were called and given a 5 page development questionnaire to fill out. I said to front desk people, why would you give us this after waiting an hour and 10 minutes when you could have given this to us as soon as we walked in, or emailed it to us to print and fill out to facilitate the process. We were finally called into a room after waiting one hour & 40 minutes. So I ask the office manager, what is the point of making an appointment? We continue to go there because of Dr. Valdivieso who is amazing. But the office is super poorly run from a patient service perspective. We left at 2:45pm after getting there at 11:40am. I get this office wants to make money by packing patients all days so Doctors see as many as possible but these waiting times for service are simply UNACCEPTABLE."
