"went here my whole childhood when i was a teenager i told them i was having muscle and join pains and i was sleeping 16 hours a day and still taking naps and still tired. i told the doctor this and they said it was just stress and sleep and gave me 2 weeks off of gym. turns out i had lyme disease and since she immediately said it was just stress and sleep i suffered with untreated lyme disease for about 9 months. my first symptom i felt in august, i went to the doctor for it around november. after the whole school year of still feeling sick and miserbal i want back and they FINALLY listened to me and took my blood and found out i had lyme disease. i just don’t understand why has a doctor if a 17 yr old girl complains of fatigue and joint/muscle pains blood test should be taken immediately just to be safe. i am sad because i feel like my body has never been the same again"
