"The Atomix bar tasting is a special experience, featuring a simple yet elegant space with an amazing drink pairing and world-class service. Reservations are rather difficult to get, though some solo slots at the bar can still be available some time after reservations are released. Service is easily the highlight here. All members of the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food, beverages, and even the dinnerware. There was a perfect balance between engagement and stepping back to allow each guest to enjoy the meal. Foodwise, there were many dishes with unique combinations served throughout the night. The raw courses were in my opinion better than the cooked courses, though all were excellent, especially the shrimp and lobster. The cocktail/beverage pairing was a perfect complement with impressive variety. Dinner lasted just shy of two hours, and was one of my favorite dining experiences in NYC. Highly recommend if you get the chance."

"Easily the best meal of my life. The service is so over the top--they exchange intelligence about clients between each other. Caught me off guard. They're so well organized it kind of reminded me of the CIA or FBI. A little overwhelming!"

"We came for their bar menu to celebrate our anniversary! The reservation is a little hard to get but just set an alarm for when they release dates. Each dish was flavorful and nothing like I've had before. I personally don't eat lamb so my main dish was different than other people but it still tasted amazing. My favorite part was their cocktails. They really put a lot of efforts and thoughts into each drink to make them unique. The portions looked small but we were both very full after eating the main course."

"Atomix has been making the headlines and climbing up the ranks recently, which makes reservations really hard. Came here for the bar experience where they pair alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktails with some experimental dishes as a part of their research and development. Courses and drinks are completely different from the Chef's Counter's full experience downstairs. The ambience and vibe here is modern, relaxed, casual and hip. The bar chef and beverage director were friendly, chatty and interactive. Let me start by saying that I think the bar experience is brilliant and should be an introduction to the famous culinary experience downstairs that I think gave Atomix its edge, hype and world rank. The cocktails were very crafty and tasty. They enhanced each dish's flavor. They were smooth, well balanced, not too sweet with a perfect amount of alcohol. Courses were simple, rich in flavor and pretty much prepared in front of you. My favorites were the Shrimps with Rhubarb & the Blue Lobster with Iberico sauce. What mostly stands here in my opinion are the sauce & ingredients. Otherwise, I think the taste and presentation were average for a two-Michelin star restaurant and the No. 8 world’s best. In other words, they lack the wow factor and I didn’t feel they pushed their boundaries or were exceptionally different. I didn’t feel anything unique when compared to other starred restaurants I visited. Again, this is just a review for the bar experience. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and a good time. Looking forward to the Chef Counter experience sometime soon to update my review."

"What an amazing and special way to spend my birthday. The meal was spectacular. Every course was thoughtful and the ingredients made the perfect meal. We did the wine pairing and every wine went perfectly with it’s course. I also love the cards they include that detail the course, provide the chef insight and includes an animated graphic through app filter. The service was truly exceptional. My second time, I was impressed they remembered every detail I mentioned during my first dining experience. They made sure to learn about and connect with my date, in a true authentic way. Overall Atomix is a perfect place for a solo dinner, with a friend or a date. Expect to only book a reservation for 2 max given the intimate experience they provide. My companion and I truly enjoyed our experience and marked it as memorable. Ohh and the surprise birthday dessert was an added bonus."
