"DO NOT RECOMMEND! Honestly...Worst educational facility I have ever attended!! The staff is quite rude and will keep referring you to another department as barely anyone ever is responsible for whatever you are trying to to get resolved. Emails are either entirely ignored or if you get lucky, you may get an answer after weeks/ months... they have no clue at all when it comes to basic processes (visa application, proficiency placements, academic advisement, etc.) and do not communicate anything properly. I recommend you do not rely on your advisor - 9/10 times he/she will share wrong information or leave out critical details. I had been referred to the wrong department time and time again which caused me to waste a lot of time. Especially the International Student Services are staffed with impolite, indifferent, lazy folks. I was even blamed from a so-called "International Student Specialist" for her countless mistakes, resulting in stress, time pressure and me losing a hell lot of money. If you are looking for accountable people, move on, won't find any in this office or barely anywhere on campus. Most professors aren't any better than staff regarding communication or accountability. Their attitude before semester begins is sort of a "Getting paid only for the semester - why should I take a look in my inbox? Don't care!" Spare yourself the drama! Nothing but a waste and joke. Please do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT GO here. Attend another college, please."
"Due to covid the place is now spacious and there is no problems waiting for elevators. You will need your Bmcc ID to get to the building and also to use the elevators."
". The Borough of Manhattan Community College has a very good reputation as an Institution for higher learning. . As part of the City University System, they do an above average job in educational pursuits. . They come well recommended and I agree. ."
"Itβs disgusting, the building itself is too slow it is really frustrating to stand and wait for the elevators to come and take you to your next class. They should start doing renovations and make more space for students to like get around in"
"If you have classes here, make sure to arrive early. It can take up to 15 minutes or more to get an elevator to your floor."
