"No question the highest quality sushi I’ve had in my life. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and nice. I like how the fish was served with minimal additions - meaning the focus was on the fish, not the toppings or sauces. I loved it. Definitely will eat there again."
"Extremely delicious, fresh omakase. You'll be very happy with the quality and the price. Definitely now one of my favorite Omakase places in NYC. Also love they let you BYOB and they're super nice and serve your drinks for you. Can't wait to come back!"
"The omakase was pretty good - they had a few interesting pieces. The Wagyu and the Sable fish were my favorites. It was also great that they do BYOB! That being said, I do think there were few misses: 1) I think they pressed their rice a little too hard. While it was nice that the sushi didn't fall apart when I picked it up, the rice could have been slightly fluffier 2) The Otoro (fatty blue fin tuna) was too fatty compared to other Otoros I've had. 3) Occasionally they used a bit too much wasabi (though Im sure if I had mentioned it to the chef he would have adjusted it)"
"Easily the best sushi experience I have ever had. In addition to great taste and presentation, the service from Chef Ellis was phenomenal. I loved the very intimate feeling 9 seat bar. If possible, I would highly recommend visiting for the 9pm reservation to allow you to spend some extra time and share a drink with the chef (be sure to bring extra sake!)."
"Been here twice - excellent consistent service and food. The tasting menu is out of this world and is quite an experience. Took my husband there- he’s not a big Sushi/Sashimi guy but this totally opened his palate and changed his view. Great for first dates as it’s conveniently located next to tons of bars."
