"Their shawarmas are authentic and fresh. Their falafels are freshly made from scratch every day. The shawarma is seasoned and marinated everyday in house, and boy does it pack home. Let that sink in for a bit, it’s not canned chickpeas or frozen falafel balls. Make sure to ask for their garlic sauce and their spicy garlic sauce. Their white sauce doesn’t play games either, it has a unique hint of savory flavor that you won’t find at any halal cart or deli, and it just makes the food taste even better. You can see the chefs in the back prepping everything fresh from scratch, nothing is frozen, The proof is in the the flavor, there’s love in every bite. The mood is always set with their classical Mediterranean music playing in the background, the decor is nice and everything is clean inside. The owners are really nice and friendly, you can always approach them about any concerns or allergies. They always go above and beyond to make sure that you leave full and satisfied with your moneys worth no questions asked. Before you go to Paterson, save yourself the trip and go to Halal Flamez. You will not be disappointed. This isn’t a local deli serving up basic chicken over rice, this is a real Halal Spot, they obviously took their time coming together with all these recipes, and you can tell that they are serious about, and have perfected their craft."

"I was really hoping this would be a great new place to go in the neighborhood. I ordered the chicken/lamb platter and it didn't come with hummus nor french fries as the menu indicated it would. Chicken was pretty dry and the rice had too much turmeric or cumin in it. I see I'm the first negative review. Wish it was positive."
