"This is a small local park. What makes it unique is the flat rock near the river which makes it easy to launch small river floatation devices like tubes and kayaks. I have lived near the river for a decade and advise anyone considering spending time in it to be mindful of the weather. The Ramapo River can be calm and peaceful one day and completely destructive the next."
