"Global Dance offers THE BEST dance program that I have come across in NYC over the years for both boys and girls. First of all, the classes are small and the teachers pay close attention to each student. There is a special attention to detail that really stands out at Global Dance. Secondly, there is an array of high quality classes offered from classical ballet to hip hop to tap dance and break dancing for example, that are all taught by top tier teachers that were personally vetted out by the head and founder of the program Larisa Calero. Thirdly, Larisa’s world class professional ballet career as a prima ballerina, as well as her graduate work come together perfectly in the way that she designed GD and in the way that she manages this studio. She extends her passion for dance, her impeccable attention to detail, her solid leadership, her love of teaching, as well as her energy, enthusiasm and warmth to the children (and the parents!) in a way that distinguishes her and GD from the crowd. High caliber teachers and classes, for great value. My son loves his Global Dance Classes and looks forward to each session. This is the best kept secret on the UES!"
