"I used to love this studio but have been consistently disappointed and disrespected with my time and money. Last minute cancellations, late start times, and no reasonable concessions for their inability to operate as a professional environment. Seems to be a truly profit driven organization and not worth your time if you want to authentically grow as a dance artist. Don’t waste your time here. There are so many better studios to go to in the city. Don’t waste your money or energy."
"So fun! What a great experience. Haven’t danced in years and was such a great class. I’d like to go back and do more foundational dance as I think the beginner level is still a bit hard."
"One of my favorite places to dance in NYC! Professional choreographers and instructors, and the front desk personnel are always so helpful. I definitely recommend for dancers who are seeking to expand their repertoire and progress professionally. Good selection of classes and in a nice location."
"I signed up for a beginners class, and I was so lost I had to leave within the first 10 minutes. The class just started all of a sudden -- no instructor introduced themselves or anything about the class, people just started moving. It took me a minute to identify who was even leading the class. Then the instructor would just clap and everyone seemed to automatically know what move to do next. As a person who has never taken a dance class before, I had no idea what was going on. Why didn't the instructor use their words to introduce themselves and describe each movement? Why was there no demonstration of each step? And how did everyone know the moves already? I intentionally signed up for a beginners class, *not* the open level class -- consider yourself warned that your classmates are at least intermediate dancers. I'm sure this studio is great if you have a dance background, but I do not recommend for absolute beginners."
"I have heard really awesome stuff about this place for dance enthusiasts and can definitely see how inspiration is promoted between these walls. The building by itself is a great view in a great location. When it comes to life performances, there is definitely an extreme amount of talent and devotion all over the place. The operation of this spot as a venue is flawless, no problem getting in or finding seats and everyone on board is really nice. My only comment is towards the chairs, a place with its head as high as this one should really think on the comfort of the seating audience."
