"There aren’t enough words to describe the amazing experience I had with Dr. Blackburn during and after my pregnancy. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and attentive! Although she didn’t deliver my daughter, she showed up right on time! I was beginning to feel forgotten by the other Doctors as I suffered through excruciating pain due to complications after giving birth. Dr. Blackburn stepped in, made the necessary decisions and followed up with me every day she was there, TWICE a day! After getting home, I began to experience baby blues/postpartum depression. At my six week check up I was an emotional wreck! She sat and spoke with me, gave me advise and even made me smile! I have never experienced the type of care, she provided, with any other doctor, EVER! As a first time mom, it was important that my doctor exemplified everything she embodies and for that I am, and will forever be, grateful!"

"Worst experience with this doctor ever. She has the worst attitude she doesn't listen to anything anybody say she just reply by saying I'm the doctor or you going to listen to me or not. I have never experience anything thing with any Gyn doctors like that ever. I am currently 15 weeks and I do not want this lady anywhere near me or potentially delivering my baby. At this office there is no guarantee which of their doctors will be available to deliver my baby and since they can't guarantee me that she is not I'm now looking for a new Gyn doctor."

"I love Dr. Blackburn. She delivered my 5th child and was absolutely amazing throughout my pregnancy and after. I would recommend her to anyone who asked. She is smart and confident without being arrogant or condescending. She is sensitive yet tough. She is a good listener and very kind. I hold her in high regards and trust and value her opinion. "We had a terrible experience with this particular doctor. My daughter was referred to her by another MD in that group for surgical consultation for Dermoid cyst that was (mistakenly) read by a Radiologist on her Ultrasound that was performed in the sonogram place in their Freehold office. It was a misread ultrasound. During our consultation with this MD , she gave us 2 options : surgery or repeat US in 6 months, although she explained that Dermoid cyst compared to simple ovarian cyst does not rupture and that what my daughter has is large that eventually will require surgery, and that if it wasn’t removed then and she experience pain again it can cause ovarian torsion which then will require emergency surgery, so with my daughter being in College , we decided to have surgery done before she went back to school and also because of our insurance coverage. Dr. Pacana ended up doing her surgery since Dr. Blackburn was not around on the day we picked. Well , after surgery , Dr. Pacana spoke to me and my husband and told us that my daughter did not have a Dermoid cyst , meaning the Ultrasound was misread and when I inquired if she herself or Dr. Blackburn looked at her Ultrasound , the answer was NO , they solely rely on the Radiologist which I think is not a good practice. If you’re the surgeon who will be performing the surgery, wouldn’t you want to see for yourself what you’ll be operating on? Dr. Pacana cannot apologize enough to us . Not ok , but apology is appreciated . Dr. Blackburn on the other hand , told my daughter when she reached out to her “ well, it’s you guys who wanted the surgery. Your Mom was rushing to have it done because of insurance “ . No kind words from her , no apologies. Not professional at all. I just hope that they’ve changed their practice , meaning , check any imaging yourself before “cutting “ someone up. When Dr. Pacana spoke with the Radiologist , response was , “ It must have been her bowels I saw” ."
