"Great people to work with! They fixed the alternator in my Mercury outboard and were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Highly recommended."
"Had my pontoon serviced here and these people are unbelievable. Their service is beyond reproach, even with dealing with me in a Covid state of mind, they were very professional and went beyond what I had asked for If you have a Mercury product, you DO want to take it Cape Harbor Marine repair. Kate is veryknowledgeable As is her staff. I was confused when talking to them on the phone as to what I was supposed to do but Kate set me straight. You won’t have any doubts after you deal with Kate or Andrew. Thanks for your help"
"Just purchased a new Key West 1720 CC from Cape Harbor Marine Services and couldn't be happier with the boat and the highly professional customer service received in the boat rigging, detailing and delivery. Cape Harbor Marine truly understands the concept of outstanding customer service and satisfaction. If you're looking for service on your current boat or looking to buy a new one, Cape Harbor Marine should be your "go to" resource."
"5 years ago, my husband had work done on our boat. The cost was well over $3000.00. Last weekend, my husband called them and spoke to Kate about doing some more work on our boat, she told him that he never paid his balance from the service 5 years ago. My husband always pays his bills and, they would never have given him the boat if, he owed money on it.. If just doesn't make good business sense. This had ruined our whole weekend, worrying about this. When we returned home, we looked for the receipt, needless to say, we had a "paid in full" receipt signed by Fred. Yesterday we brought this receipt to Kate and Fred, and it turns out that we over paid almost $900. So by Kate wrongly and strongly accusing my husband that he owed them money, but, in reality they owed him money. Neither one of them apologized for their mistake or show any consideration for the inconvenience this had caused us. This really made us upset on how we, as good customers were treated. They also didn't wear masked or practice social distancing, which made us a bit uncomfortable as well. One more thing, 5 years ago the windshield separated from the framing on our boat, my husband took it to them (once again), they charged him a few hundred dollars to put the windshield back on. The following weekend when he took the boat out, guess what happened? Yep, the windshield came off again. When the season was over, my husband strategically put the windshield back on. and its still secure in its place today, five years later.. These are 2 separate incidences of poor workmanship and poor book keeping from Cape Harbor Marine Services . We will never go back to them and, we will never recommend them to anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read about our experience."
"I was replacing my Mercury outboard water pump. I noticed a little corrosion on the top bearing and decided that this job needed special tools & skill. So I took it to the local 'Mercury' repair shop. After waiting 3-4 weeks and stopping by 3 times to see if they were done... and listening to them apologize that they hadn't started yet, they said we will start on it on Monday..... 1 HOUR ON THE WATER and the lower unit starts starts crapping out. I get home thanks to a trolling motor. I drain the fluid out to find bits of metal... So I paid them to do a job that they could not do..They killed my lower unit. I tried to get them to do the right thing. They DID NOT MAKE IT RIGHT... Their only good advice was to buy a rebuilt lower unit from some guy on EBAY."
