"What a complete nightmare, technician after not showing up for original appointment time, on 1/13.. comes the next night, and office still waiting on my parts…spoke to JCPenney where I purchased my appliance and warranty states to me yesterday they haven’t received any report from Dependable , which it was requested in February 1 st…it’s now 2/8…no model number no serial number for the part which isn’t needed to fix my ice maker! I spoke to the office on the 2/5, unfortunately they don’t know how to run an office, at all! One girl says I’m rude , meanwhile yes I’m frustrated cause it’s been nothing but a headache with this company from the get go…. Then called back an hour later to be told part is on a rush order, from another girl…..ummmmm which is it cause Jcpenny/asurion still needs info and a report!!! They are liars just to appease your call ! Did a review on yelp and of course the owner is just as unprofessional as his staff!!! Im sure after this review they won’t be answering their phones when they see my number , left voicemail and of course no return phone call!! DO NOT USE DEPENDABLE , nothing of the sort of their name!!!!"
"I had a nightmare of an experience with them. NEVER AGAIN!!! My LG washer and dryer tower was in need of repair, both machines. LG's website has them as an authorized repair company, so I gave them a shot. That was the first of many mistakes I will have made in the 3 months of back and forth with these guys. The ladies in the main office would either give me the run around excuses that the parts were not in, or just flat out never return my phone call or text messages. The technician was a friendly enough guy that did show potential of fixing my machine if he had said correct parts. But after coming around 3x and still nothing is done, I had to give up all hope. Honestly, I think the technician was the only reason I stayed on the hook and got played for so long. I really felt that he was trying to fix the machines and move on. They told me the parts will take up to 10 business days to arrive, till this day, 3 months and many laundromat trips later and I still did not hear from them. This is not from lack of trying. I called them every week to track part progress and they would either say it has been ordered and not yet arrived or their system was down and they will call me back once it comes back on. I would call back hours later or the next day and they just flat out did not pick up. Absolutely unprofessional and downright dirty scam. The icing on the cake is when I paid the technician on his last visit with my credit card for the repair, to later find out it was not fully repaired at all. It was my fault to still believe in humanity. But I had to take my kids to their enrichment class and left the technician to continue working. My parents were home and I had trusted the technician to complete the job. Later that evening I realized the repairs were not completed at all, yet they still ran my credit card for full payment AND did not even so much as leave a receipt either. I called the ladies in the morning and got the run around. Multiple times I had requested for a receipt of payment and was ignored. I finally gave up on the receipt after 3 weeks and just demanded my refund. Crickets from voicemail and text messages. I had no choice but to call my credit card company and dispute the charge based on merchant's poor service. I would actually categorize it more like fraud and theft! Absolutely the worst experience I ever had with a repair company. DO NOT! I repeat...DO NOT!! Ever use this company for any reason!"
