"I train at Yi's of Egg Harbor Township but sometimes I sign up for a few private lessons at Yi's Vineland to brush up on my skills. The staff is just awesome. If you or your child are considering Karate instruction this is the place to go in Vineland. I could probably write a page on all the little things they do that set them apart but if you want a Karate school that focuses on developing a complete student in and out of the Dojang Yi's of Vineland gets it done. An FYI, I am a 61 year student at the time of this post. I started Yi's Karate Egg Harbor Township with my son when he was 6. Today, many years later I'm a 4th Dan and I've enjoyed every minute of the journey as well as the friends I've made along the way. One of the added benefits of Yi's is the inter-school tournaments where the students get to test out their skills against students from other schools (and make new friends) in categories such as breaking, forms, weapons and sparring. The Karate is Tang Soo Do, a Korean style. I hope this helps anyone looking for a place to train."

I got into training in order to build up my confidence as well as develop the necessary skills to keep myself safe, especially with my line of work within the community. "I joined Yi's Karate in 2013 with my sister when I was 13 years old. When I started out I was ridiculously shy. Like people thought I was mute kind of shy. Honestly, I joined because at the time I thought it looked cool, but I stayed because it was really fun and I really enjoyed the people I trained with. Since starting at Yi's Karate, I've learned to be a lot more ok with using my voice and speaking up. In 2017, when Master Vertolli hired me as an instructor that really made my character development exponential as I quickly learned to be comfortable with public speaking and not second guessing myself. "I love Yi’s karate. By enrolling her at Yi’s I have seen such a change at home and in school. She is more confident in all that she do. My daughter show a lot of respect to adults and to her peers.
