"Don’t bring your kid to this school if you really care about your kid. The teachers are nice, but the way they teach sucks. The dean and principal wouldn’t do anything to keep your kid safe and they wouldn’t do anything but put your kid down if their failing and or bullied. This school would say anything to get more students but they dont mean everything they say. I’ve been here since 9th grade and ever since I came here they tried so hard to keep be held back."
"I attended this school from 7th to 8th grade. I can honestly say my experience there helped shape me into a much more open-minded and confident person. Class sizes are small and you can tell the staff cares."
"This is by far the best school I have ever attended. The teachers and principal are called by their first names, this helps you to feel comfortable in the learning environment and makes you feel like you can approach them more. This school is a safe zone for the LGBT community and is a very big supporter of equal rights. This school is overall amazing and prepared me tremendously for college."
"Great school. Great principal and teachers. All are very involved with students. All are very respectful of students. Small classes. And yes, kids are given a voice which is fantastic!"
"First and foremost, I DO NOT attend the school but, know students from my school who are there. The students were very respectful. Every Friday there is a 12:30 dismissal due to Proffessional Development. Teachers, Principles are on a 1st name bases with the students. Light snacks are allowed during classes that arent distracting. There is a Rosetta Stone program for language class and your choice of what language you'd like to learn. During independent typing students are allowed to listen to music with headphones if they get work done. Outside lunch is allowed but is a priviledge that can be taken away if abused. For phys ed. you can participate in Yoga, Skateboarding and so on. You can speak to a guidance counselor about ANY issue and they will not tell anybody at all if you dont want them to. It is a really good school and everyday there is an hour reading requirement and study hall for all grades. No uniform required and you are allowed to wear hats in class. The school goes from 6-12th grade. All that matters at the end is what you think of the school really, but I loved it personally!"
