Jersey Walk

"I lived here from December 2022- December 2023. The apartments are decent but definitely not what you pay for. The washer and dryer is one machine and it doesn’t work so you have to go to a laundromat to wash clothes. Mind you a 1bedroom is $2000/month. There is no system for packages so a lot of packages get stolen (mine was stolen, thank god it was from Amazon and they easily replaced it). There isn’t really a management you can reach out to. The office on site is only for ppl interested in renting and mailbox keys. The main office is in Brooklyn. They almost never answer the phone when you need something and when they do, they never assist you with what you need, it’s always “we’ll take care of it” but nothing is ever taken care of. Ppl throw trash and leave dog urine in the hallways and elevators. They have someone who cleans but they can’t keep up with the number of tenants so the building is almost always dirty. The elevators are wonky and slow are hell. Ppl have gotten stuck multiple times. Everything in the apartment is electric, the shower water gets luke warm at best. You pay every utility including cold water and sewerage. The PSEG bill for a single person was over $200 every month. They said the pool would be done April 2023. They are still currently working on it in January 2024. And when it is done there’s an extra fee to use it. The parking is absolute hell unless you pay the $1xx a month extra for parking in a garage. The location is right in the middle of a Main Street in Elizabeth so there will almost always be traffic when you’re leaving or coming home. The building is made extremely cheap my floors had a soft spot that felt like if I stood too hard I’d fall through. They let almost anybody rent here, all size dogs are welcome, so sometimes you will be greeted at the elevator with pit bulls, Rottweilers etc. Also, I left the apartment spotless and I currently have to sue to get my deposit back because the office never sent it after a bunch of emails and phone calls and them telling me they’ll “handle it”. It’s been over 30days since I moved out so I am going to sue. Overall, if this is your only option fine. But if you have the option to rent elsewhere I’d say do that."

"It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. I will normally let it go but, I feel like I need to share my experience in this case. I lived at Jersey Walk from Nov 2022 to Dec 2023. Management is HORRIBLE! I lost packages and nobody answered for it so, stealing is a thing in that building. I sent Mark plenty of emails on that issue and never got an answer. I also had an electrical problem in the apartment and they never fixed it. The gym, pool and other amenities never opened so I can't even have an opinion on that. The place is also dirty most of the time. People throw garbage in the elevator and other areas and don't care. Probably because they have lots of airbnb visitors coming in and out. They also don't pickup after their pet so watch your step when walking outside. I can probably keep going but ultimately my solution was to move out. Also, good luck chasing them down for the deposit back. I had high hopes for Jersey Walk since it's advertised as ''luxury'' but my experience was very disappointing."

"Park in your own lot. They have a massive parking garage and take up the spots of residents in the home nearby"

"Horrible experience living in this building. I moved in September 1 2023 and it's been nothing but problems ever since. My circuit breaker keeps tripping and they have yet to fix the problem. The building super Andy is a complete waste of time, he keeps trying to tell me that it's my Amazon fire stick that's causing the problem, I have also reached out to hilltop management about the problem and Mark keeps enforcing what the super says blaming the problem on both my tv or the fire stick. I have repeatedly asked them to send a license electrician to my apartment and they refuse to do so."

"Is a brand new building less than five years of construction also it has a very nice terrace. Also as well located by route 1&9 he has also the bus and public transportation nearby supermarkets car washes everything very close the building is really nice they keeping it up I like the way it looks he looks really sharp many keep it up"
