Courtyard by Marriott Newark Elizabeth

"This is a very nice hotel. The front lobby was very clean and updated. The check in process was easy and our room was great. The front desk was very helpful with directions on getting to the airport early. Only down side of this hotel,if you are using it to sleepover before a flight, is it is one of the furthest hotels from the airport. The park and pay is great and it is a feature that we really like because you save a ton of money instead of having to park at EWR. *Make sure you take at least a 15 minute earlier shuttle bus time to get to the airport. It takes at least 10 minutes but with traffic and stops to other terminals it could be over 20 minutes to get to your hub."

"It was a horrible night at this hotel we have never had. The heating system in the room didn’t work at night. We called engineer but it happened again in the middle of night. What they can provide was only an extra blanket since the engineer left. The worst place for family vacation."

"I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Newark Elizabeth for a 1 night business trip. The hotel is close to the Newark airport which was good for early departure flights. My only complaint is the inside of the hotel is very dated and my room was very dim even though all the lights were turned on. The desk doesn't have a light so it was very dark to work inside the room. I was able to walk to the outlets mall from the hotel which was a bonus. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when I checked in and answered all of my questions. I took advantage of their free shuttle bus service to the Newark airport at 5:15 am."

"Nice rooms. Service was great. Good accessibility. Satisfactory location. We arrived for early check-in, due to issues with the app, front desk did not receive the update. Guest services was busy with long weekend business, but amazingly had our room ready within about 40 minutes. We waited in the lounge area which was very spacious with lots of comfortable seating options and a coffee/snack bar. Rooms were spacious with plenty of room for multiple guests in a 2-queen bed room. The sleep/living area was updated, but the TV was small and outdated, an easy and cheap upgrade to finish off the area. The bathroom was spacious but in dire need of an update. The hotel is situated in a square with other hotels and is near the airport and the harbour. The outlet mall is within walking distance with lots of shops but there is nowhere to buy necessities nearby without a vehicle. Overall average experience."
