"From the first day we met Denise, the building manager, we felt she took a personal interest in facilitating our transition from home owner to happy renters at The Parker. She was patient and supportive throughout the process and went over and above to make sure we settled in with everything working in perfect order. The maintenance team is respectful, responsive, and efficient. Never thought I would love renting after owning a home for 35+ years, but The Parker is an amazing, well-kept, quiet, convenient (walking distance to downtown Westfield and the train station) and peaceful place to live. "The Parker is newly built and in a good location walking distance from Westfield downtown. My first week in the unit I was very pleased but then quickly noticed the walls were extremely thin. I had raised this issue to the ownership of the building as it was negatively impacting my work life (as i was forced to work in the unit during the pandemic) and carried over into my sleep. From early in the morning through the night I could hear every conversation, arguments, footsteps, and movement of furniture. I first raised this to my neighbors and they had similar concerns and could hear me too (which is disturbing as well). When raised to ownership I was first questioned on the validity of my claims then was eventually hung up on after multiple attempts to find a solution as the noise issue grew more irritating and I had asked for accommodations to help mitigate the issue then finally asked to break the lease without additional penalty. After being hung up on I ended up paying 3 months rent while living in another building just to leave the toxic situation and perpetual and unintentional intrusions into my work and personal life by everyone who shared a wall/floor with me. If you don’t mind hearing all of your neighbors all day and night and ownership who seemingly doesn’t care about their renters then the Parker is an okay place to live."
