"Fifteen months after purchase and four months after manufacturer warranty expired my Unit died. After communicating with the manufacturer and their representative for two weeks they informed me that the “thermostat” in the Unit was an issue. They sent videos on taking the machine apart and fixing the issue. It took three days for all the ice in the unit to melt, before I could even attempt to fix the issue. It was eventually fixed: The next day we were back to the same issue. After uploading my amazon invoice to them their solution was for me to use a 25% credit from them towards a new unit. Why would I want a new unit from the manufacturer. Amazon needs to cut ties with AVALON. They’re using their website to scam people legally by having them sell their defective merchandise. I can understand if two people had an issue with their products. However, upon reading reviews on their website 97% of the consumers had an issue. Government agencies such as Consumers Affairs or the State District Attorney need to investigate Avalon: I want my money back ."

"After only 1 month, my AF3 water cooler is not working. There is no way to call customer support. They do not return emails. I would never buy anything from this company again!"

"I purchased a water cooler after reading positive reviews, which I now realize were either incentivized for a discount or fake. The cooler I bought for my business broke a few weeks after we received it. It does not heat or cool the water. There's no customer support. They don't answer the phone. When I emailed for help they simply shipped me filters I did not ask for. This company is a SCAM! Do not buy anything from them."

"I wish I would have searched more reviews before purchasing this. This water cooler is garbage. My company bought a large one for the office and it works fine so I decided to buy a small one for my apartment. Why? A month after it stopped working and because I hadn’t registered for the warranty, I wasn’t covered. This Is looking to be a class action, I can guarantee it. Selling expensive junk isn’t a business standard."

"If you think you’re going to receive any customer service, you are sadly mistaken. You must email them and they may or may not respond back. There is not a human being that you can speak with at this company. I have searched ways to get around their phone system to talk to human being and other than going to a sales person and telling them you want to buy 20 of their products that might be the only way that you can get somebody on the telephone. I have been waiting five days for a response and have yet to receive anything. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with this company. Please choose any other company but this one. If you want help trying to repair your water cooler it’s all done by email and they have responses That they just email you and ask you to do like cleaning the water tank checking on lines. There’s no real service to this. It’s just a turn off the lights and feel around the room kind of situation. Avoid this company and anything that they’re providing. I don’t know if it’s because they can’t hire anybody but I did see several job postings for customer service and it looks like they can’t fill them , the product worse for about 50 weeks perfectly. We had a 5 gallon bottom filling water tank. My next step if I don’t get a response is to go to social media and begin waving the red flag for Avalon and their company."
