"The apartments are beautiful, with nice counter tops and high ceilings, but the building itself had too many problems when I lived there. Elevators broke down atleast 5 times during my lease. Packages often got stolen and AC stopped working during middle of summer heat. Additionally, the power went out whenever I used the TV and speakers at the same time. The super was really responsive and helpful, but whenever I called the 24 hour maintenence hotline they would act annoyed or irritated when I reported one of the many issues. Lastly, the fire alarm had a problem and would go off randomly without any reason. Living here definitely gave me some unnecessary anxiety and I sincerely hope they address the issues rather than just getting annoyed."

"I really wish I would have read the reviews to this place before signing a lease. I moved in 12/29 and had discussed with leasing agent Lauren Medici that this would be my move in date for weeks. On my arrival: 1. Heating was not working, the apartment was/is still freezing and even though I have reached out multiple times and spoken with the leasing agent, the manager Mark Phillips, and the 24/7 live dispatcher the issue is still not resolved two days later. The apartment is UNLIVABLE in this condition. 2. The dryer was not working, and there was chewed up gum stuck inside the machine. 3. There was mold in the bathroom grout and in between the bathroom tile floors. The toilet was not cleaned and had feces in it when I arrived. 4. The vent in the bathroom was beyond filthy (see picture attached). 5. The balcony had black soot all over the corners and the space between the door has major dirt residue on them. 6. The batteries in the smoke detector/CO2 detector needed changing and was beeping incessantly, even with removal of the current battery. 7. The unit was overall not cleaned prior to my move in. I could only tell it was painted. I am two days into this lease and wish I could move out. I will update this review as my lease continues and hope this is just a rocky start to what will be a good lease term. However, in the meantime, I would say if you have an option to live anywhere else LIVE THERE NOT HERE!"

"UPDATE: AC broke in the heat wave, heat broke during the first cold storm we had. what a joke, and phillips management company still doesn’t call anyone back. jersey city zoning and code enforcement is on the case, DO NOT RENT HERE OR FROM ANY OTHER BUILDING MANAGED BY MARK PHILLIPS AND PHILLIPS MANAGEMENT COMPANY Beautiful building but don't live here under the current owner or management company. Our central a/c has been broken for a full month, Phillips Asset Management, specifically Mark won't respond to emails, wont return phone calls, and will seemingly get mad and annoyed when you press for results or answers. At least by the time they fix our a/c, we'll have to start bothering them about the heat. Phillips and co, if you see this, I'm still waiting for a call back, been 78 degrees in our apartment for a month, even with the cheap, portable unit they installed and have to keep coming back to "fix""

"We have lived here for a year and love it. Apartments are built very well and we never hear our neighbors. Management is great and responsive. The view of NYC from the roof deck is incredible."
