"My mother and I both had appointments today with Dr. Flerida Tan. We didn’t wait long at all, and when Flerida came in she was a delight. She was kind, thorough, smart, caring and professional. She took her time with us, being thorough and explaining everything to us. Thank you! !"
"Yesterday September 19th 2023 I had an appointment scheduled for the Northfield Office. The Lady I spoke with earlier in the week on the phone told me the Cape May Court House offices were booked up and I couldn't get in for several weeks or longer. I am disabled, a paraplegic. I am in a facility. I needed to come by ambulance(Tri-Care) Before I can make it to an appointment the facility has to double check my appointment and then provide the transportation for disabled people. The driver couldn't find the place and I called for them to give us a better direction in the parking lot. The Scheduling department for the dermatologist told me I didn't have an appointment.. They had all of my information that I gave to the lady earlier in the week. Somehow my appointment was canceled for 3PM yesterday. the driver was completely unreasonable and I asked her could I please just go and talk to the people in the building because there was a simple mistake. Driver was rude and wouldn't answer me closed me in the vehicle and went in to talk to these people on my behalf. I said please can you just let me in to talk to them she started to unbuckle me too put me on the left when her boss told her to lock me in the truck and called the police. I waited patiently and I called scheduling back. I talked to another person this time a gentleman and he told me after explaining what was going on that they have a 3:00 o'clock appointment and he was going to try and see if he could schedule me. I told him that was my time slot. The supervisor for the ambulance company came and they spoke to the people inside and one of the workers came out multiple times to talk to them because the police was there. Guy on the phone said he had an appointment for me only for them to cancel me. It was because the driver said that I threatened her and that's why the police came and that is why they canceled my appointment. I told the drivers supervisor that showed up why would you call the police I wasn't rude I wasn't yelling I just asked her politely if I could go in to try and remedy this situation. Which was remedied by the scheduling assistant until they went in and said I was being threatening. The gentleman scheduling said due to the current situation they weren't able to take me they just didn't feel that it was a good situation. I'm a paraplegic. How could I be violent? I wasn't even yelling. More importantly I have the whole thing on video. They asked me if I would reschedule and try to come back a different day. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!! the driver lied and they have dash cam video and I told the supervisor that I was going to request it and I want to know what will happen to her for lying. And he basically said nothing. Because Of these people and the way they treat disabled patients I was denied service. I wouldn't recommend this company. The dermatologist could have came out and spoke to me and saw that I was polite and was just asking for a little clarity. Instead I feel I was discriminated due to my disability."
