"This place is absolutely inflexible and inhospitable for families with babies over 12 weeks. It's baffling that our 12-month old is not welcome. The disappointment runs deep. Their stubborn attitude is akin to burying their heads in the sand, refusing to consider any other perspective. It's an incredibly frustrating experience. — Update after receiving a reply — Unfortunately, the reply I received was far from satisfying. The issue isn’t about bringing my baby in for a checkup, but about being able to have my child accompany me during appointments, instead of constantly needing to find a babysitter. Is there really such a significant difference in infection risks between a 12-week-old and a 12-month-old baby? It might be worth consulting the women in your waiting room about their preferences instead of deciding on your own “what’s best for them”."

"I’ve got to share this honest review so people get real feedback. Dr. Tal has the most incredible name out there. He is top in the field and has magical hands (so I hear from so many) He saved my daughter at my last birth… He has the lowest caesarean and highest v-back rate. Dr Roman is incredible as well and super helpful and patient. She takes the time to answer all your questions and explain anything you may not understand. (With the practice growing and growing , it has become more difficult to see the doctors). HOWEVER, The office staff, Elaine and Lauren specifically- and I do feel bad saying their names but I am hoping this will cause some positive change- are obnoxious. Any phone call I make is so so stressful. I hang up feeling like I just left the principals office in 7th grade. They have no respect for humanity and treat the many women they deal with horribly. I am definitely not alone in this- that is for sure- I’ve spoken to so many who use this practice who share my thoughts. It is such a shame. The people who haven’t switched yet stick it out for the amazing doctors they have. In the name of all of us in Lakewood who use this practice, I hope this review is taken seriously and the changes that need to be made are made. This practice deserves to be on top!"

"I called to become a new patient and elaina who answered the phone was ridiculously obnoxious. She told me to go somewhere else since I requested the earliest appointment possible and when I said I’d still like to come as a new patient she huffed and puffed and asked “for what?”. I’ve heard wonderful things about Dr. Roman but it’s not worth dealing with this miserable person every time I need to schedule something."

"I have been a consistent patient of Dr. Tal for over 11 years now and I have never been disappointed. His expertise is unmatched. I am not good with new things however, Dr. Roman and the NP Katie are a breath of fresh air. As a medical professional I respect these providers more than I can say. The front office staff is phenomenal . I have been to both the Lakewood and Ocean office and yes there is usually a wait to be seen however, you can not rush good service. Each patient is unique and require different things so patience is a must. Everyone gets what they need at this practice."
