Even though Dr Fegan is very busy, he is always patient, kind and offers detailed answers to questions. I am deeply grateful for Dr Fegan and the Atlantic Eye Team!"

"It was a hassle trying to make an appointment there. The woman at the front desk with the long black hair and clear glasses offered me an appointment midday during a weekday, which I couldn't make because I work. I asked for an appointment around 12 so I could go during my lunch, or a weekday after 5, but she said they don't offer appointments at that time, I could do 11 or 1 or Tuesday nights. I asked for a Tuesday night, but I guess she couldn't find one because she then offered me Saturday. I said I could do Saturday, she then offered me an appointment at a different office which I declined because I would like to go to the Holmdel office, so I asked for a 1:00 appointment at this location. She then muttered under her breath "now you can do 1:00" which I found very rude along with some other comments I wasn't able to hear. I was finally able to make an appointment, I just hope the doctors aren't as rude as the front desk staff and I hope the woman who helped me was just having an off day."

"I liked Atlantic Eye until I had to deal with their prescription department. Beware that you will get forced to use a prescription tech company that does all business by text message with no customer service and that overcharge you. When you try to get to the bottom of the issue with Atlantic Eye, they (Marissa) will gaslight you and hang up on you. Were we accidentally disconnected?"

"Dr. Ravi is exceptional at his craft! From the initial Lasik consultation to now (4 months post surgery with 20/20) everything went better than I imagined. Him and his staff were thorough during every step of the process to ensure I was comfortable and well informed. I'm still flabbergasted that in just 7 minutes I went from barely being able to see items clearly 10 feet away without contacts or glasses, to seeing everything perfectly to the point where I would do it again if/when the time comes."

"I will start with the positive (5 stars for the doctor , 2 stars for the phone system, call back or email response & front desk staff)....a family member had cataract surgery by Dr Christian & the results the next day were truly amazing . His vision was better than ever in only one day . He had no pain after surgery & his recovery so far has been unremarkable ! We were initially seen in Little Silver office . The surgery was in Eatontown & the post op visit in Holmdel . The Eatontown office is their surgery center . All of the staff was very nice .& the pre and post op nurses took very good care of my family member ! However ,both times we waited over an hour after the scheduled appointment time for surgery. . One of those times they had taken my family member into the pre op area . I thought he would be in surgery shortly after . Finally after an hour ofwaiting I asked the receptionist" is he In recovery "? & her reply was " oh he hasn't gone Into surgery yet ". I noticed time and time again that no info was given as far as patient status to anyone waiting for their family . I find that very upsetting . The receptionist was able to tell when each patient was in the OR or recovery . So why not pass that important info along. We were also not told that apple juice o r broth could be taken up to 5 hours prior to surgery . So my family member had nothing to eat starting from midnight until after surgery which wound up being 3:30 pm .the next day No one told us our post op appointments would be scattered around to different offices . Luckily we were centrally located so that wasnt a problem . I am a nurse I have seen very well run medical facilities and very poorly run ones .This practice is very unorganized.This practice does not even have a live person answer calls . It goes to voice mail so thereforeany questions go unanswered .very frustrating! We discussed this with the doctor in our post op visit . To see any change all patients must express their displeasure to the doctor . I honestly felt the Holmdel front desk staff couldn't have cared less when we voiced our concern. This is NOT the way a practice is supposed to be run . It takes multiple times to get any response either by email or phone . Hopefully the office manager & docs will read the reviews and do something!"
