"Terrible teachers, terrible school. If you try to complain about how a teacher is treating your child the assistant principal is going to defend that teacher. I had a meeting not too long ago regarding a nasty 4th grade teacher Ms.V, who doesn’t know how to respect children & their emotions & the entire conversation was flipped around. They went off the main topic of the teachers rudeness & tried to tell me about my child’s anxiety when I am the parent & I know where & how it started. If you care about your child’s emotions & mental health please do not enroll them at this school. I am convinced the 5 or 4 star ratings come from parents or people who are close to the administration team. Unbelievable & disgusting place to call an elementary school. The teacher changed her attitude for a couple of days after the meeting & returned to her nasty ways. This teacher has a history of yelling & making children cry. I know because I graduated from this school when I was a child. You all should be ashamed of yourselves."

"One word of advice is if you don’t like your job, then LEAVE IT & find another one. If can give ZERO star I WOULD!! The parent coordinator is very rude & has a very nasty attitude"

"I had good experience at Dyckman Valley School. I graduated in 2005, moved on to IS 52 then Riverdale Country School 11', and then graduated from BCC and Queens College. I had excellent teachers, Ms. Sandra Freja for 1st grade, Ms. Harryman (2nd grade) 203, Ms. Inaya Asal (3rd grade) 301. They helped me to enjoy school despite the limited resources. I wonder if they still teach here I'd love to stop by some day and let them know that I became a teacher. Class of 2005'"

"Amazing School! Great environment. Staff make sure students are getting the right type of education deserve. The parties were lit and it's a very big school for multiples kids. I attend this school a few years ago , I'm glad I got to live through this experience. 10 out 10 school."
