"Excellent customer service. They are extremely knowledgeable and patient. My son 14 YO, is extremely happy with the Bauer we bought and it was oven warmed to mold to his feet. They also help knock the ball area of your ankle so it doesn’t get pressed on to the skates. I am very happy to have found this place and not just buy it online. It’s a world of difference. Otherwise, unless your feet fits perfectly to the skates— no amount of expensive skates will matter. The retail cost is “slightly” higher but with all the customization—- well well worth it. Highly recommend. Two of his friends are already going to get it. Ask for Joe!"
"Alvin was absolutely amazing. I came in a bit late for my appointment unfortunately but he was very understanding. He is also very clearly knowledgeable. I was able to pick out, purchase, bake and sharpen the skates all in one trip. Thank you for such a wonderful experience."
"skater’s heaven! David is beyond excellent! i have no words for his professionalism, courtesy and very friendly too! i cant wait to go back soon! this store is 100/10 def recommending them to my other skating friends in NY!"
"Excellent full service by folks who know their stuff and only carry good quality brands, none of the cheap ones you find at some big box retailers. That's what I had and made my skating coach's heart hurt. I came for female beginner ice figure skates. It's at least 1-1.5 hours and several hundred dollars. I called first because I didn't have an appointment but really wanted skates before my next lesson. Alvin said I can come as a walk-in, but they're fully booked, so I should be prepared to wait. I drove the hour and, to my delight, Kyle saw me within 20 mins. She spent AS MUCH TIME as I needed, no upselling, no gimmicks. It was my choice all the way. Friendly chat was a bonus. I chose to purchase something that day, instead of getting something online or waiting for them to order something else. Purchase includes custom fitting, molding, and permanent setting of the blade. They also do sharpening if needed. I highly recommend this place."
"One of the better skate shops in the city. I made a reservation for a skate fitting, and when I arrived one of the skate techs was happy to help size my feet and work with me to get me the right pair of skates for me. I was generally quite happy with the service, and it seemed like everyone in the store was quite passionate about their job — I felt particularly comfortable trusting the staff here because they really focused on getting the right fit. I never felt that I was being upsold, and my skate fitter really worked to ensure that I was happy with my purchase. The skate sharpening was also done quite well. I will certainly look to return here when I upgrade to another pair of skates!"
