"Great Dr! Knows his stuff but also as stated in previous reviews his office staff doesn’t! And often rude and short with patients on the phone. This miscommunication is seems to be a trend that seems to come as no surprise with other offices that deal with his office. Not entirely sure that he’s aware of just how bad the problem is. As stated in a previous review they place you on hold for long periods of time and often don’t call you back or mail you things you need and heard from others scheduling is a problem as well. But as for his skill as Dr he’s one of the best"

"I’m sure Dr Whang is good but there is no communication between him and his staff. His staff takes forever to complete a task or even call you back. You’re on hold for 30 minutes for a simple question, which that could not even be explained or provided clearly. I worked for physicians before and I never experienced this kind of unorganization maybe because I was always on top of everything making sure the patients were well informed and had proper care. I would find someone else who has a better staff and better communication."

"Dr. Matthew Hwang is the best kidney transplant Urologist I have ever known. He took care of me for the last ten years. Last 2016 I almost lost my transplant when I had urinary reflux that caused my chronic UTI. He did Kidney Transplant Reconstruction and the procedure was successful. My transplanted Kidney was saved and is functioning normally till now. My problem with chronic UTI due to urinary reflux was also resolved. I couldn’t thank Dr. Hwang for what he did to save my kidney and have a better quality of life. I can only ask the good Lord to bless him and his family with good health, happiness and abundance. The office is clean and spacious and the staff are very pleasant and helpful and professional specially Brie. I highly recommend Dr. Hwang , the best Urologist in NJ."

"This review is Not about Dr. Whang, he is great. This is about Margaret the office manager. Today I called to follow up on a request I made at my last in office appt on 7/23/18. This is a simple request of my last office note being sent to Aflac. This has been done for every 3 months for almost a year now. Margaret refused to help me, then she claimed there is no record, file or anything in my chart showing this has ever been done. She said since she doesn't know who I am that I would have to come to the office and sign forms to have this taken care of. She was offended when I questioned how the office could have no record of this information in my chart. This was around 3pm, so I said I will come to the office now, Margret said she was leaving then. So after I called Aflac to verify how many times this has been done, when it was done and what was need from the office(just a simple office note faxed like before) I called back with Aflac on the phone, to my surprise Margaret was still in the office and hour later( she lied about leaving at 3pm) and she still refused to sent the information and insisted there is nothing in my file/chart showing this has been done before. Margaret told me she didn't have time for this and she hung up on me. There are so many good doctors out there with incompetent staff managers out there, which hurts the practice because if I had this situation happen to me before I had seen Dr. Whang over a period of time, I would have gone elsewhere and still might leave after this especially if they continue to be incompetent with my records."
