"My friends and I have come to the Driftwood for the past three years and have never been disappointed. The rooms are very clean. We have a big refrigerator to fit all the goodies we decide to bring down every year. Enough room for all of us to sleep and bring our tons of bags that we always bring down. I want to thank Bettyanne for always being so accommodating. It’s a nice and quiet with a private beach also with a pool. That is what we look for when we go down for our girls trip. We can go to the boardwalk if you want all the hoopla, but to stay in here is just relaxing.. The pool is clean the beach is clean and we enjoy our time there immensely…..**********.. 10 stars in my book."

"I wish this could be a 5 star review because me and my friends looked forward to this girls trip for months but that’s not the case here. While the beach is in close proximity and the set up out back is really cute, it definitely doesn’t outweigh the negative experience we had with Drifrwood. Not only is the motel very old school with taking reservations (no computers, all written down with credit card information and no confirmations), my friends card was charged twice and they keep giving her an issue about refunding the $ even after she showed them her statement and provided them with the dates she was charged. She was charged once when she booked, and another time in July. The issue was said to be resolved once we arrived and then it kept getting pushed off by staff members. Parking is an absolute nightmare here. I read reviews about it and figured people were being dramatic but it is 100% true. There were trucks taking up 2 spots, people sitting in parking spots to guard them if their husband left to get food or something. It was awful. We had to pay $39 to park on the street even though we had a ticket to hang in the car to park at the motel. The whole experience with this motel was very disappointing, we won’t be back."

"We had such an amazing stay at the Driftwood! They renovated their rooms, new flooring, bathroom, and nicely put together. Being by the beach it’s hard to avoid the flies that are attracted to the light outside the door at night that’s expected just be quick when going inside and don’t leave it open. AC worked perfectly it was nice and cold, beds were comfortable, great sized fridge we were able to fit all our drinks and food, we went to the local stop n shop and liquor store which was super convenient, also lots of places to eat near by. Parking was totally fine never had an issue. The snack bar was so nice and delicious, you must get a bacon egg and cheese! You can’t beat it because it’s right on the beach, free access, and heated private pool which was super clean. It was relatively quiet too with some noise late at night or early morning but honestly slept perfectly fine, TV worked good and shower was so nice. Water was very hot too. Check in was pretty simple and quick. I appreciated that Betty-ann gave me a courtesy call to see when I would be arriving, that’s a nice personal touch and she asked us how the room was once we came back out. This is a busy place and I can see why! It’s really a great deal considering you’re on the beach and within a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a mini beach getaway. Also ice cream and Italian ice everywhere, there’s so many places to try! Very family oriented which is super nice. Between the cafes, ice cream shops, boardwalk and restaurants we ate good! Loved our stay here and we will be back!"

"First time staying at the Driftwood. Had a great time. The rooms are exceptionally clean. Stayed in room 127 efficiency apartment. Very clean quiet and peaceful. Betty Anne is top notch! Nice large outdoor pool that is very clean. Just steps to the beach. The location is perfect. Recommend this establishment to anyone looking for the perfect little beach vacation. Boardwalk is not too far away. About a 10 minute to 15 minute walk highly recommend the Driftwood and be sure to ask for Betty. She’s the best."
