Amethyst's Beach Motel

"Door knobs don't work properly hard to get into the room. Another Elder lady complained about the door knobs hard to open the doors. being hard to get into the rooms. The door knobs are ancient and have been there since the place was built. The maintenance manager Dennis don't help you. Why give out rooms if you can't get into the room. Swimming pool isn't covered. A baby already drowned at the Amethyst Motel . A Certificate Of Occupancy needs to address this. Cover that swimming pool. I already called DYFS."

"Stayed at the Amethyst for my birthday weekend - rooms were very spacious and had furniture/closet to put away clothes, everything was very clean and sanitized, location was perfect - we were able to walk to the beach/boardwalk. Hotel and Theresa are both 10/10. Going back every summer!"

"Perfect location for boardwalk and beach. Walking distance. The hotel was nice. The rooms were clean and had some upgrades to the bathrooms. Parking on site which was amazing. I would definitely stay here again when visiting point pleasant."

"This motel is well maintained and clean. The bathrooms in our rooms are newly renovated. For the price, I think it was a nice deal. The location is great. No shampoo and conditioner- so byob. Parking at a per day charge of $18. I would definitely stay again."

"Family owned for 65 years, this gem of a retro motel is a perfect location on Point Pleasant beach, close to everything. The owners are fabulous- even gave us an upgrade to the apartment when checking in because we booked 2 rooms for our family. Kids loved the pool. The coffee and muffins in the morning was an extra delight. This family cares about their customers."
