Point Beach Motel

"My sister and I booked 2 rooms here on the 28th and 29th of September because we were attending a wedding near by and we are from Maryland. When we first entered our rooms we noticed sand all throughout both rooms as if they weren't cleaned properly and then within 30 minutes of being in our rooms we noticed a ridiculous amount of ants coming in through under the doors. I first tried putting a towel down to block the door but they kept coming and it got so bad that I had to run out at night just to get raid and ant repellent. I was bummed because point beach motel is a great location and it was our first time at point pleasant but if we ever do come back we most definitely will not be staying in this motel until they get proper room cleaning."

"This was our first time staying at Point Pleasant motel which the property is very clean and well kept. The room is large and very clean, a plus was the walk in shower with the rain shower head. The only con would be the towels they provided which is a simple fix by bringing your own (I’m a little picky when it comes to my towels). The bed was comfortable and the room temp was wonderful by controlling the a/c. Very short walk to the boardwalk and beach and staff was very nice. Totally enjoyed the stay. Would I stay again, absolutely"

"This place is amazing!! We just came back home from point pleasant beach and we stayed in Point beach motel. Amazing place, Patty helped me from the start of my phone call reservation and when we got there she was so nice from check in to check out. The house keepers are so polite and respectful, the guy who was by the pool was also asking if we needed help to open the door in our room…. Our room was on second floor right on front of the outdoor pool. Room was very clean and was ready for us at soon as noon when we got there. The motel is very clean, 5 minutes walk to the boardwalk and games/ restaurants. This place is in the middle of the fun!!! Thank you point beach motel for giving us a great welcome to point pleasant beach. God bless you and and God bless who reads this review."

"Our favorite motel in Point Pleasant! You can't beat the location -- a block from the boardwalk and across from the rides! -- and the room is exactly what I'm looking for during a Jersey Shore getaway: clean, comfortable, relaxed! Some reviews here are complaining about rooms being "low tech" and "no frills" but that's a plus for me. I'm trying to chill out on the shore and love the old school vibe here right down to an actual key! The ocean is steps away, the amusements are right there, the room is pleasant with a small fridge and windows that open (yay!), the staff is friendly, there's a great deck and a pool -- what more do you need? Note: the beach passes used to be given out free but the costs to the motels became too great; the motel isn't happy with this change, either. We just bought a pass when we went to the beach, no big deal. Love this motel, it's not a Jersey Shore vacation unless we can stay here!"

"I’ve been coming here every year to spend time with my aunt and cousins visiting from VA. I love that the pool has privacy away from the road and has a comfy atmosphere. Our room had a rain shower in it, that was awesome!! The front desk lady is so nice and welcoming, she makes sure you are taken care of. They genuinely care about your stay! One thing to note is there is no coffee machines in the rooms. No shampoo and conditioner, just bar soaps. You are given one parking pass. If you have visitors they are not going to be able to park at the hotel without a pass. So I recommend having them park elsewhere in another lot nearby. We enjoyed our stay. Right next to the Jenkinson boardwalk, great location."
