"Absolutely atrocious service. The door staff named Franklin will not let you in if you are traveling and by yourself. They are extremely disrespectful. Inappropriate and sexist. Would not recommend going there if you are a female."
"Unsafe experience on Sat., September 3rd. I came here with a group of 5 people. I had no expectations - I'd never heard of the place before. It's a club, but it feels more like an intimate drinking lounge with tables, built-in bench seating, and LOW ceilings. Despite this, women stand on benches throughout the place to dance, even though they have to continually watch out or they'll hit their heads. I decided to join in the bench dancing fun bc floor space for dancing is so limited. Bad choice. I quickly got down bc I wobbled and it scared me. I was thrilled I hadn't fallen. I resume dancing alongside friends (who hadn't noticed I wobbled), then that's when I spot him. This short, muscular bouncer comes walking my way. I grab my purse bc I can tell he's walking with intensity. He slips his arm in mine. I don't argue or resist, and he just walks me out. Doesn't say a word to me or anyone that I'm with. So creepy. None of my friends saw anything. From their perspective, one second I was there, the next I was gone. Obviously, the bouncers are being proactive, which I can appreciate, but not saying something to someone, and leaving a woman alone on the street in this neighborhood is just awful treatment. Your bouncers should have said something to me. You could have said, "We saw you almost fall. If you get on the bench again you'll be asked to leave." Anything would have been better than a secretive walk out in silence."
"I rarely write negative posts but I am very disappointed with the club. We went as four Asian girls and spent over $500 buying our own drinks. When my friend stepped outside for fresh air she was verbally abused by the Caucasian bouncer and harassed when trying to get back in. She felt like she was threatened. We were forced to leave cutting the night short. It was the first time I saw racism and Asian hate in action. One of the other minority bouncers tried to stand up for us, risking his job, but got a ton of backlash. Would not be surprised if he got fired. This is not a minority friendly club. I’m amazed a club like this has not been canceled in 2023."
"This place isn’t a bar or club, it’s a scam center. They charged us a 300 dollar bar minimum to enter, which is fine for 5 people. We each get a couple drinks and they end up charging us $770! We did not order $770worth of drinks, and it’s not even close. My friend who put his card down tried to dispute it with the bartender and was literally thrown out by the bouncers. This place literally robs you. DO NOT GO HERE."
"This place in NYC was undoubtedly the most dreadful I've ever come across. I had to endure a 45 to 1-hour wait in line, and the bouncer had the audacity to demand $160 for entry, even though I am an active duty military serviceman. The situation escalated as the bouncer called for backup, and I was escorted out by four people, accusing me of being a disturbance. This experience was beyond awful, and I felt utterly humiliated and intimidated. The owner of this establishment should be utterly ashamed of how they treated me and my fellow military members."
