Crusader Oceanfront Resort and Restaurant

"Stayed last week for the first time at the crusader hotel. Already booked for next year. The staff are welcoming,friendly,and very very helpful. The ladies at the front desk at check in were great! My wife asked for help with luggage do to we are both handicape and with no hesitation Steve and the one lady (sorry I forget her name) came out to help. Our room was upgraded comfortable and very clean. Great view and the pool was perfect. We rented mobility scooters and the staff let us keep them in the lobby and when we went out Steve was there to help. When we checked out they sent Jose to help get our stuff back into our car. In our opinion the Crusader is far above and beyond any other hotel we have stayed at. We would highly recommend for a good stay to book your vacation at the Crusader. To the staff THANK YOU THANK YOU for a great experience and all the help. Look forward to seeing you all next year. Mr and Mrs Charles Journey"

"I am disheartened and disappointed that the staff and their manager named Bruce have zero compassion for my family. While we were set to arrive for our end of summer trip my son had an accident at a trampoline park and broke his leg, his tibia. So drained fm this experience and assumed 48 hr notice would suffice. It did not. Reps never expressed their compassion, just that we would not be getting refunded our deposit. I don’t want a refund. I begged for a credit. I cried. I emailed the owner. No response. I sent proof of injuries. All reps and manager were short and seemed annoyed with me. NOT a family oriented place at all. We loved staying here in the past but never again. If this is the way you treat a mother who is going thru this terrible ordeal, then you are not a business I want to give my hard-earned money to. Travel insurance is needed cause you never know what could happen and The Crusader just doesn’t care! I WAS CHARGED MY FULL DEPOSIT, NOT 1/2 CANCELLATION FEE. HONESTY AND COMPASSION ARE LACKING HERE SADLY :("

"Stayed here with my family for the night. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and updated. The location is great. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definitely come back again and a bonus was the elevator with having a baby in a stroller was great. Cause our room was on the second floor"

"We decided to bring our 3 kids to Wildwood for the day. We tried to book at a nearby hotel which was sold out, the gentleman called Crusader who saved a room for us!! We are so thankful to the front desk who held the room for us. Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and stocked! The animal towels on the beds were adorable!! Our view was beautiful. The pool was clean! The beds were comfortable as well. Definately would stay here again. Only down side was the parking which was tight. About a 25-30min walk to the boardwalk stores. We enjoyed our visit!"

"Now I am being completely honest. I am a girl who grew up camping in a tent and using a bathhouse. After marriage and kids we did the camper thing. I am not picky so long as the room is clean and fits my needs. Well this place did! Traveled with a good friend and her two young girls. We stayed in room 204. Room was immaculate when we arrived. Front desk was so friendly! The maintenance crew here is is so thorough and nice! We could walk to Moreys and Chickie and Pete’s. The pool area was so clean! Would strongly discourage you from going to the BBQ place at the end of the street and board walk. Pink Cadillac has an amazing breakfast. Was perfect for the three days we were here."
