Mahalo Diamond Beach

"Great location. Quite end of Wildwood made for a relaxing stay. The staff was kind and helpful. With the beach being minutes from the room makes for a perfect walk."

"Great location. Renovations complete. The value of this room depends on the price point . For $300 it’s great for $500 you’ll be disappointed. Icona resorts do the bare minimum on renovations and charge the prices of cape may high end resorts. It’s just not that level of service or experience. Free beach chairs and free bike usage are the major perk. No food or drink on property. No breakfast options as advertised. Drain in tub/shower is gross. Why not replace that? = money probably Icona properties are unfortunately run poorly in my extensive experience. I’ve stayed at three of their cape may county properties. Cape may is the nicest one by far. If you get a room for under $350 grab it. If not search elsewhere."

"Had a great time with family! Enjoyed the pool and beautiful beach. Definitely expensive, and for the price, they need to offer better beach chairs and umbrella service (or at least let us use the sister property services). Loved the pool, however needs a bit of work as there were cracked/broken tiles. Loved the coffee every morning and beautiful beach views. Maui was great!"

"Beautiful beachfront hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff. Maui, the Macaw, is a cute, welcoming addition to the front desk. We even got to meet him and take pictures with him. The hotel is very clean, and our room was impeccably clean. There are a number of amenities including an area where you can purchase breakfast muffins, bagels, drinks, breakfast sandwiches, some souvenirs, etc. For a full breakfast, it was super easy walk to Coastal Blue in the ICONA two doors down, and you can charge it to the room. Easy walk to the beach , which is right outside your door, as well as a beautiful pool. There were many common areas along the 5 floors of rooms where you can sit and relax in comfortable chairs. Bicycles are available for the guests. This hotel is really a gem, in a quiet area of Wildwood Crest/ Diamond Beach."

"Location is GREAT! Literally on the beach, can walk onto the beach from this hotel. They offer beach chairs to take which is great, you can also take out bikes another great amenity. They have a really cool WATERFALL feature in their pool, which will be TURNED OFF in windy weather conditions if you have children looking forward to it and there's alot of wind while you're there be prepared for that conversation. The let down was really the rooms, we checked in and our room had condensation from floor to ceiling first walking in. Felt as though it was because the cleaning crew put the AC on blast at a low temperature at 65 degrees and outside was 90ish degrees but later once we were settled for bed realized our bed was sopping wet in the center. Through blanket, sheets, and mattress, needed to ask for a completely different room a little after midnight. Was told to come down in the morning to speak to manager so I did go downstairs first thing in the morning and was told manager credited us $250 and was sorry about the inconvenience. Which in my opinion isn't professional by any means, and if a manager is supposed to speak directly to a paying customer about a situation they should. Not sure why it went the way it did but seems like Mahalo handles things how they want and thats just how it is. For nearly $500/night hotel a simple conversation should've been easy in my opinion that's why I've rated 1 star to rooms and service based on how the situation was handled specifically by management."
