Down the Shore Seasonal Campground

"We are new seasonals and although we initially signed up for the 2024 season, we were lucky enough to move our camper in at the end of July. We are so glad we did! We ended our summer off with a bang! The campground is very well maintained, the owner Andrew and the staff need 5 stars for their communication! They have made many updates as well and you see it the moment you enter. Our old campground down the road had zero communication and even though it is owned by a big corporation, they sadly have no idea how to operate a campground. Down the Shore Campground was instant relief for our whole family. Andrew went above and beyond to make sure we settled in nicely and the staff have been very accommodating. We are very excited to start our 2024 Seasonal Season with Down the Shore!"

"I brought my kids and their grandparents to Down the Shore Campground this summer, and we stayed in one of their new log cabin units. The pricing was veery reasonable compared to some nearby campgrounds and definitely in comparison to everything in Sea Isle. And the rental unit was AWESOME. Super clean, beautiful, and smelled of fresh pine. The tv offered streaming services and the internet connection was excellent. We streamed on the tv and on two phones at the same time with no problem. It's a very happy community, and the staff were warm and welcoming. At one point, we asked for an extra park bench outside the unit and the staff had it there for us within 15 minutes. They had fun painting activities for the kids on Saturday morning. They also have a really well-kept mini-golf course, an arcade house, and a huge private beach and lake. Saturday evening during our stay, we stopped and watched a movie on their massive outdoor movie screen. The kids met a few other children and keep asking when we’re going again next year. We can’t wait to return : )"

"Wanted to drop a review on this wonderful place. We have gone to other campgrounds in the area and few offer such updated amenities, wonderful community, and good communication with staff. You can tell ownership has been extremely thoughtful in creating a family friendly environment with great care to the grounds. We got to enjoy an outdoor movie and the arts and crafts programs for our kids. We truly had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back next year."

"My family and I had the best time at Down the Shore Campground this summer. The cabins are brand new and BEAUTIFUL! Our log cabin actually smelled like pine and had an awesome loft space with two additional bedrooms. Easily slept 6 people, no problem! The facility is in an ideal location near Sea Isle, and the pricing was very reasonable. Looking at nearby offerings, we chose Down the Shore Campground because it was by far the best bang for our buck. The owners and staff really care about this campground. We came a few years ago and it has improved drastically - pickleball, a dog park, outdoor movie theatre (!!), and wired internet for every camper! It's great to see this community progressing so significantly."
