"Stayed at this place Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean, but it had a stitch that was not good. I did my own cleaning with products I brought with me and had to get air freshners in there. The bed was so hard that it made my back hurt. They really need to take up that carpet or have it deep cleaned. I will not stay again."

"I never like to leave negative reviews on any place but this time I have to. I understand that these hotels in Absecon are what you pay for but this weekend was beyond horrible. The room was dirty and smelled musty. The toilet seat was broken and did nor flush properly. I had to ask for a second roll of toilet paper the roll that was in there to begin with was already used. The outlets were falling apart hard to plug anything in. The tiny fridge was literally on the carpet and you could barely open and close the door. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the people above us all night as well as a toilet running all night. And then the main reason why I booked the hotel in the first place was the hot tub. None of the vents worked and one popped out as I was trying to use it.......So disappointing when you work hard and just expect a tidy room and for the hot tub to work. No breakfast no-one to clean the room. I could go on and on but don't waste your money to stay here."

"Every time we stay here, not once have we had a "dirty" room. Everything is clean!!! New bed cover this time. Bathroom clean and always can get extra towels. I do not understand negative reviews about this place. Although you can't please everyone. Still, I feel there are just haters out there who complain about everything. The location is great and quiet and well lit at night. As for room service fees that is I believe money that goes to local municipality not motel. Any place I have ever stayed in U.S. this service fee is added. Nice, quiet,clean little motel in great location. (Restaurant across street is excellent. ) happy travels!! BTW...always bring my slippers or flip flops for in room, lysol and pillow. Been doing these 3 things for 15yrs. Common sense"
