"3rd time that we stayed at Swan Lake. 1st Visit: Paradise House 11/2022 Pro: Location, quick getaway, peaceful. Cons: Linens and towels old and very used. 2nd Visit: Farm House 6/2023 Con: We arrived to property but the property was not ready. Per Property Manager, Joy, the people who rented property did not check out by 12 pm. They were at a friend's home. Their daughter did not want to leave because their friend's dog was giving birth. Couple arrived and moved their belongings to the Athena House while the property was being cleaned. Joy allowed us to wait in the Club House. When we gained access to property around 5:30 pm. We noticed the property smelled of cigarette smoke, box of matches found under kitchen mat, child's hair beads found throughout home. We never complained, we just cleaned the home. It was my birthday and it was already starting out rocky. 3rd Visit: We reserved the Secluded Lake House, but when we arrived the home was already rented out to someone else. Was this history repeating itself!!! My husband called Joy. She told him she had to upgrade us to the Athena House, its a new home that no one knows about, you will love it. The Athena is nice home, but it was not an upgrade. I wanted a house with a lake view. This house daily rate was $20 cheaper than the house that we paid for. We did not receive any price adjustment adjustment. After my husband requested the wifi password code. Joy sent a text message message message asking my husband, if he thought the house nice was."

"I stayed here for my sister's wedding. My family had four houses. We loved it. However, I wish they had houses where pets couldn't stay. Our house smelled like dog. However, Joy gave me a scented candle and air freshener to help with the smell. She was very helpful. Joy had eggs from her farm in the fridge and we enjoyed them for breakfast."
