Red Roof Inn & Suites Galloway

"So I'm in the middle of some big life changes from new job to new home. I'm a widowed single mom with a 10 year old child and an Older English Bulldog . I've stayed at quite a few motels in the area since November trying to find one that could be a comfortable temporary home until the end of February 2024. Since then I've come across some ok places, horrifically discusting places and evil corrupt money hungry places. I wish i found the Red Roof Inn sooner since so far this place has been none of the above. This place in all honesty has been a godsent. The room was clean, theres a microwave, the TV is a good size, the fridge is awesome. It's not a regular mini fridge it's like a real refrigerator that's small at around 4ft in height. The bathroom is large and there's a real closet. AC and heat work great, bed is comfy and clean. There were No bugs of any kind and No cigarette smoke. They are in the process of remodeling the 3rd floor and pool so that's going to make the place even better. The staff is one of the bests parts here. They actual act like caring and considerate human beings that are a part of our community just like their guests. Most of the motels/hotels in the area don't act like that. They act like money grubbing robots that have no empathy. The manager Chrissy and Slywia from house keeping are amazing women. Chrissy has some of the best customer service skills with running a hotel that I've ever seen she's always on top of everything and micromanaging the whole place. I'm a social worker so this is what Atlantic County needs. The only ONLY complaint I would have is better wifi but I heard the owner is looking into it. My advice to anyone who needs a place temporarily like me, a place that can feel homey, then this is it. Hope it helps."

"Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were dated and could have been cleaner. For the price and location it's not a bad place for a night stay."

"Omg where do I start! Listen I know what to expect when I’m paying low prices on a room but to charge $90 a night plus fees and not have running water is beyond crazy! Went to stay a weekend and ended up leaving a day early due to NO plumbing, the water coming from the faucet was literally green, the toilet was not working and the manager Sina gives us a plunger, the shower did not work, the air conditioner was leaking, the fridge and ice machine did not work, it smelled bad and they claimed my dog was barking when I stepped out to get food but was the guest next door dog, which shouldn’t matter being it’s pet friendly supposedly. They refused my refund after checking out a day early. This place is disgusting, especially charging so much. Save your money, it’s beyond awful, you will run out screaming how gross it is."

"They are so kind and friendly. We are waiting to close on a house. So we are staying here till then. We have been calling it our hometel. That's how they made us feel. Rooms are great very clean. Beds are so comfy. Air conditioner works to well but I like it cold. Plus it's pet friendly with a good size area for the dogs to go. I the back parking lot. Plenty of woods. Very safe. Had no issues and we have been here over a week"

"AC barely worked in our room so it was musty and humid. The wall is peeling off and the bathroom was dirty. Lady at the desk was rude every time we spoke. The man seemed nice however. Wouldn’t come here again and we learned our lesson booking at a 1 star hotel."
