"The room looks nice for the most part. However, upon walking into the room, there was a brown roach where the TV is sitting on the counter. It ran to the back wall where the TV is. Reaching for the hand towel, there is a baby roach on the wall. I slept in my clothes not sure of how clean the sheets and things were. Tried to take a shower however, after turning the water on for it to warm up, the water wasn't going down. The stopper was all the way up and the water was building up in the tub. I did not shower. Had to use the sink. The location is great, it's quiet . I did get some good rest. Just the roaches and shower issues made it not get the best rating, otherwise I'd given it a 5."
"The rooms are pretty standard. Though they do come with a hair dryer, microwave, small refrigerator, safe, and coffee maker. The rooms might be kind of plain but they are clean and the service is excellent. They are kind, understanding, helpful and polite. There is an elevator in the outside hall area. There are three floors. The hotel is located behind some buildings but there's a lot to do within the area, once you leave the hotel by car."
"When I got to my room, after a few minutes I got a phone call from the desk asking if everything is was okay. It was. But after about a half hour of unpacking, I noticed a dark spot in the corner near the ceiling. I shined a flashlight and discovered it was a Stink Bug. I called the font desk to have maintenance sent up to get it. The front desk told me it's a lady bug, I continued to advise them it was not a lady bug and that a lady bug is small, has a red back with black spots, and that this was a Stink Bug. Then sent someone up to get it. Next I had the refrigerator set on 3, and still when I got home, I threw out any food I brought except for drinks, because the fridge did not get cold enough to keep things fresh. The bathroom initially smelled like mildew and the room and it's features, bed, curtains, sink, walls, toilet, shower are all outdated and could use an upgrade for sure. Later one that evening as I got ready to sleep, and then heavily, heavily the next morning, a strong smell of weed was noticeable in the bathroom. Practically made me sick. I had an event during the day, at a neighboring hotel, so was not there much, but upon returning back, that smell was still there. Also, the grounds, (any grassy areas I tried to walk my dog on to potty) I myself had to watch as previous customers had not picked up their dog's feces etc. While that may not be the responsibility of the hotel, other pet owners who book should be advised, and this is one of the primary reasons I would not recommend. Also, there was a disrespectful customer, who was not aware of their car alarm going off for about an hour or so in the parking lot. Finally it seemed to stop and I took my dog out for a potty break. While walking back to our room across the parking lot, (some 10-15' away from) cars parked. The car alarm went off again, (it is possible the owner was purposely triggering it to scare people and watching from a nearby window); while it's not the responsibility of the hotel staff at all, some people don't have respect for animals as they obviously did not have any idea how much, (similar to fireworks) it can freak a dog out. Finally, I noticed a strong smell of weed outside too, while walking. So much that I had to come back and look up laws as I am not from this state, so maybe it's legalized here. It is not. Lastly, I booked two nights, Friday to Sunday, due to an all day conference 8-4:30pm, and a 2.75 hour drive home. I left on Saturday, I could not stand another night there, I just couldn't do it. I packed my dogs up and left, yeah, it was bad and I would not recommend, unless you absolutely have to."
"Place is pretty quiet and out of the way. Clean and no bugs which is a bonus. Only thing I didn't like was housekeeping opening my locked door with the chain in place while I1 was asleep at 3 in the afternoon and yelling at me that they wanted to clean the room. Not cool, of the doors locked and I'm paid up for the time I'm staying, you don't open the door and start yelling at someone until they wake up. What if I were just getting out of the shower and didn't hear the door."
"I would not recommend that place to a dog. It was horrible. The moment you walk in you can smell mold. We ask for a non smoker room, but got a room that smells like an ashtray. The sheets were filthy. That place should be banned. Pay the extra money to avoid taking bed bugs home and possibly catch hepatitis in there. We were there for less than an hour and the guy at the front desk charged us for the room still. We were in there trying to find another hotel to check into and we still got charged."
