"Meadowbrook apartments has been open for about 10 year now. There have been issues in the past but over the last 2 year or so things have improved dramatically. The property manager Pablo and his team really made this feel more like home."

"Thank you everyone for Sharing your grieve & pain. I was looking for a 55 plus here, but after reading these appalling comments, I will not even attempt to look at this place. As a matter of fact I would suggest to call the Attorney General and have them scrutinize their books, I just heard from s personal friend that her HOA has been embezzling funds, I'm not suggesting this is what's happening here, I'm suggesting where to go get help at the attorney general if your not getting properly treated and rules are getting broken. "I would not recommend this property. I've lived here a little over two years. I liked at first, the price was $910 and them jumped to $968 because the property mgmt. company found a loophole and increased the rent by $58.00. It's a moderate income property and potential renters can't make over $38,000 for single and I think $42,000 for two people. *This place needs a full paint job inside, not just patching up paint here and there. The carpet hasn't been cleaned probably since the place was built. It gets vacuumed, but geez, steam clean the rugs for gods sake. * The downstairs patio is discusting! The furniture is broken, but I believe Richmond properties won't buy it. The floor needs to be painted and it stinks like smoke since residents can smoke in or out of their apts. The smell is vile! *Each floor has two washers and dryers. The dryer is broken on the 3rd floor, washing machine on the 2nd floor. Neither have worked in months and heard the machines are so old, the parts are no longer available. There are hookups in apts. but stackable washer and dryers are well over $1,100 and most people on a fixed income can't afford that. Fix the machines or buy new ones for gods sake! *Cockroaches are a problem. In a one bedroom apt. there are at least six adults and an infant in there. There are mattresses and blankets all over the floors and was inundated with cockroaches. We heard it took all day to try to kill them and one of the maintenance men wouldn't even go inside. Mgmt. has done nothing, not only allowing all of these people living there, who I'm sure are not on the lease, but the filth in there is beyond the pail. The cockroaches are on the move and getting into other people's apts. Ewwwww!"

"My Aunt has lived at Meadowbrook for five plus years. The managemant is terrible. My Aunt says there is never anyone in the office so she can never get ant answers. The excuse is they are at other properties but when you ask someone at the other properties, they never see her either. Mrs locasto screams at the residents and makes tons of mistakes. The price has gone up alot and we are trying to find another place for her where they actually have mgmt that is present and treats residents with respect."

"Untrue to their SIGN of 5 years specifying "For 55 year old active adults. Section 8 is in hear with children. Also. Arc people are here. Some not following rules concerning their dogs. Law states if. Dr deems them ok to live on own take meds they r subject to follow rules anywhere Smoking laws not being followed by state in 2006. Smoke-free air a ͵ HEALTH& VITAL STATISTOCS. 26:3D-56 ventilation shared by all CHILDREN. 2 nd hand smoke! 26:3D-58. Definition of " smoking" To sum up meadowbrook. FILL EM UP having no regard or respect 4 their sign in front of. their building. Misleading 2 many people here ,never rated good. Ratings being changed by this management because they review & change ratings. The state/gov. Has let this building b a mixing of everyone."
