"I didn’t have a good experience at all. I came to this hotel specifically to do my laundry and I brought my toddler with me. The first thing I noticed when I clocked in was the unprofessionalism. Staffs had no smile on their face, I didn’t even get a welcome, and it smelled horrible in the hallways. When I entered my room it smelled like a bad meal and cigarettes mixed together which was causing me to have a literal headache, on top of that the stove didn’t work an the tub was stained. We asked to switch our rooms so they did which smelled a lot better but was smaller and had stains in the tub as well. After settling in we went to go do our laundry and it ate up all our money an didn’t even allow us to get the laundry started, it was broken. We approached the staff about the situation and they said there is no manager on sight till the morning an he was the only one there, which is mind boggling to think there wouldn’t be a manger throughout all the shift incase any issues like this occurred. Not only did I approach the staff but I have to call out for them or wait forever just to get a problem resolved because they decided to go to the back an leave the front desk unoccupied for when customers need them. Every situation we approached we barley got any help besides the room switch and it was like a “deal with it” situation, which did not make my experience any better. After that I went to get a snack from the vending machine it ate up my money again an at that point I was just so upset, but like I said nobody did a thing about it not even the manger the next morning they said that I would have to call the number on both machines for a refund, so I did but they told me the hotel could’ve refunded me but yet I was not aware of this so the hotel practically lied about the refund . We also had a broken ac an mind u our toddler was with us our clothes smelled like old cigarettes and bad cleaning products. I ask the manager for a refund for this experience and because I got the room on Priceline he said I would have to call them which they will call him an basically he made it seem like he agreed to a refund. Priceline gave the hotel a call for a refund but yet denies it, it’s sad that you waste time and money to not even get the experience you expect and these people don’t even try to offer any type of refund or anything to make the experience better. they offered a 5% discount for my next stay which is nothing but that’s it. After my experience, I wouldn’t even want to go back so that offer was irrelevant to us. I hope nobody has to experience what we did and hopefully they get maintenance to the building to resolve these issues because that’s not a way to run a hotel or any business if they expect customers and happy ones at that especially with children."
"I like this place. It is out of the way which is good for safety. The staff is absolutely the best! I've been staying here for 20 years. When in the Meadowlands area, I have never had a reason to stay anywhere else. It IS an extended stay type hotel. As with other extended stay type hotels, you prepare for your stay by bringing your food, beverage, etc. If you didn't prepare, order food to be delivered. It's a great place to chill out. Put your clothes in the cabinet drawers. They have the kitchen utensils you need to cook. Whether you're in the area for work, in between residences or just here or a long weekend, this is the place for you. Good prices on 7 days or more!"
"The room had a refrigerator that refused to open. When I called the desk, they refused to come up and open it. The desk lady said she didn't have anyone else working to come to the room. I asked where the ice machines were so I could keep my perishable items on ice, and the front desk clerk said this facility has no ice. At breakfast the coffee wasn't even hot and the blueberry muffins were stale. I will NEVER stay at that location again, it's horrible"
"Came into the front desk area around 4pm, no one was around. Eventually someone showed up once we called and told them we were there. Went up to room, very basic, but that's what we paid for. Later we realized there are literally no kitchen utensils/ appliances at all - no plates, no cups, no silverware, no pots/pans, no coffee maker, etc. There's a small sign in the kitchen saying you can call down to the front desk and request what you want and they'll bring it to you. Ok, maybe they have an issue with stealing? Tried that - called the front desk to ask for basic kitchen supplies, response was "we don't have any of that." ...What? Isn't the entire purpose of the kitchen to be able to cook? Literally NOTHING was provided or available, staff clearly didn't care; the kitchen was essentially useless. Additionally, there was hair in multiple places in the bathroom and the floor was dirty. Went down for coffee at 10am - I know they don't provide a full breakfast - and was told "coffee was over a half hour ago." What kind of hotel doesn't have coffee available in the morning? Really not worth the money we paid to stay there, definitely don't recommend if you're looking for a place where you can utilize the kitchen in any way. Also not particularly close to anything, certainly not walking distance to anywhere, including the stadium or anywhere to eat."
"I travel a lot and this is one of the best ESA hotels I've stayed at. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and renovated (they're still working on upgrades). Every room has a full kitchen which is great for the longer stay travelers. They have a guest laundry room which is also where the drink and snack vending machines are. They don't have an ice machine, but they do have ice cube trays available if you're adamant about having ice. Like all Extended Stays they have a quick grab & go breakfast: coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal, granola bar, muffins. The location is convenient, It's not walking distance to anything, but it's close to everything. I would recommend this place to anyone."
