"I ordered over $10,000 of furniture from West Elm (this location) for a new home, and I will caution anyone looking to buy furniture to AVOID WEST ELM AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT ORDER FROM WEST ELM. I have had an over 6 months (AFTER initial furniture delivery) issue with damaged and malfunctioning items being replaced. After initial delivery, I was assured that my items of furniture would be replaced when the initial team saw the damage, and even after that had to make appointments for review by the “Furniture Medics”- another day off from work. After the Furniture Medic review, I never heard back from West Elm, leading to more than 20 over hour long phone calls where different members of the customer service team, with no continuity, attempted to help my situation with clearly no idea what was going on. The customer service team did not have ability to see the Furniture Medic Report, I was given conflicting plans about fixing vs. replacing furniture items, and eventually- once I called AGAIN myself was told parts were being sent (to the wrong address, at that). Finally, once the parts arrived after I had to change the address, I called the number PROVIDED to me by customer service to schedule an appointment for delivery of replacement items and a Furniture Medic, and day of they had NOT scheduled the Furniture Medic. Each time I called, each team member had no idea what had been happening previously, even after I had asked the reps to document to avoid this confusion. Every branch is not connected, and this has been the most frustrating process and if I could go back, I would have never ordered from West Elm. Save yourself the stress, hours of phone calls, and days off waiting for Furniture Medics and Deliveries that never arrive. DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM WEST ELM."

"My daughter ordered this desk 5 months ago for her 15th birthday. It finally came in today. With great anticipation, we assembled it tonight, but were gravely disappointed when the flimsy fasteners you used to join the two tops together pulled out of their holes! Please see attached pictures. I find it ironic that you design with a fairly hefty metal bracket, but used fasteners that couldn't hold up a feather. It's bad enough that we waited 5 months for delivery for this desk. It's quite another thing when we pay approximately $1000.00 for this worthless piece of furniture only to have it collapse immediately after assembly. I think it was even advertised as being constructed of "solid mahogany". From all appearances, this looks suspiciously like much of the cheap MDF and particle board furniture manufactured in China for big box stores. It would explain why your fasteners didn't hold. This is completely unacceptable. My daughter is heartbroken, and I am beyond angry. We have been swindled, and I want my money back."

"Love the design here! I am definitely a big fan of West Elm. I purchased a lot of pieces here recently. I will visit the store to see the furniture or decorations first and then order online. It is really helpful to see how west elm store decorate the space and we can learn the cool design it matching from the store. The staffs here are really helpful and efficient. I got some great deals such as percent off with free shipping for small pieces. I am still waiting for the big furniture delivery. So exited and cannot wait to see my pieces!"
