"I have never expressed my opinion about a place of business but i am compelled to write this review. Unfortunately, I must alert others to the terrible experience one can anticipate when shopping at Living Quarters which, as a retail furniture store, should ideally serve as a bastion of comfort and assistance. Regrettably, I must report an incident that is profoundly troubling, where I was subjected to public humiliation and disrespect for the mere act of browsing the merchandise without committing to an immediate purchase. This store appears to be of the belief that its premises are reserved solely for those prepared to place an order at that very moment, discouraging any reasonable exploration of options or the consideration of choices. Should a prospective customer find themselves in a situation where, for reasons unknown to the staff – a myriad of which may occur – they opt not to proceed with an order, the response is shocking. Such patrons are summarily banned from the premises and publicly admonished. This treatment is unprecedented, and one should not have to endure such behavior in a retail setting, especially given the trying times we currently find ourselves in, where mutual respect and dignity should be paramount in our interactions. The audacity of the store's employees to make judgments about the circumstances of their clientele and to employ intimidation tactics is deeply troubling. In my extensive experience procuring furnishings from various vendors during my home renovation, I have never encountered such reprehensible practices. No other establishment, regardless of the circumstances, has ever accused its patrons of "wasting time". This behavior is inexcusable, and it is not surprising that their online reviews are so low - see yelp for more. It is my hope that this message may serve as a deterrent to the mistreatment of future customers with unwarranted harassment and that they find other places to shop for furniture."
