"It’s a charming old theatre, very clean, warm and comfortable. As far as I understood, they propose award winning moving including arthouse ones. I had a wonderful experience which I definitely want to repeat."

"I like the Village East by Angelika for their revival movie options. I've caught some older movies on the big screen there that I've always wanted to see in the theater (or that I wanted to see again in the theater after all these years.). The building is an older, historical building in the East Village, and it's got "old New York building charm". The theaters are medium sized (there are certainly smaller revival movie theaters nearby) and there is a good variety in the refreshments. I like the place and they have a great variety of good movies in revival."

"Love the variety of shows played from classics to animes to current playing films. Has a historic building. This building has a lot of character and plays something for everyone, check it out but keep in mind the building could use some upgrades for seats and paint the walls. Labeling theatres would be helpful. There’s lots of stairs to get to where you need to be."
