"An excellent place for Black history, school or meeting place. The theater is small yet very nice."

"So I'm a Bard Microcollege student, and the MDC is partners with our school to provide space for us to access the necessary information for a new course, "The Making of the Carceral State". The space is awesome, and the staff is super friendly and helpful! So far it's an awesome experience and I have high hopes for the future here!"

"I LOVED it! It's a small venue with a little movie theater. Pictures of melanated singers, actors and activists on the wall. They show movies and short films of up and coming film makers and actors."

"If you haven't been here, you need to go. There are many offerings at the Harlem art house and theater. I have seen African films and classics. Tonight they screened Paris Blues, and the inspiration for the film was there! It is a small but comfortable venue with many offerings of various kinds."
