"Spa Jolie was great. I went because I got a coupon off of Groupon for a men’s back waxing and eyebrow waxing. The place was very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. Tatianna was my aesthetician and she was WONDERFUL. I completely felt comfortable, basically pain free, and she was very kind and knowledgeable. She talked me through everything and always got my approval before doing anything and made sure I liked it. It is located between the Village and Chelsea in lower Manhattan. Easily accessible by train. I made a same day appointment and was easily accommodated. I will definitely be back!"

"I would not recommend this place or at least if you’re going there don’t let the old russian, bronze hair woman do your waxing. She burned my body all over, I kept telling her that it was way too hot but she kept speaking to me like in her language, like I didn’t know she was actually complaining. I always proud myself for my skin and now I have burn marks all over my arms, tights and half of my back. I’m so frustrated because they tried so hard to sell me another package and I was in so much pain that I just wanted to leave that place as soon as possible. I wish I could say those were bruises but my skin was literally peeling off when she was done. Saw my back this morning and I’m devastated! I’m leaving a picture of my arm so you can have an idea but half of my back looks the same way and also some on my tights!"
