"8 of us attempted the Boardwalk escape room... 4 adults and 4 kids ages 8, 9, 11 and 13. Joe at the front desk was super friendly and explained the game well. He also knew how to wrangle in our very excited 8-year-old son by giving him an important "job" (making sure nobody climbed on anything, lol). The clues were challenging and fun, the kids did really well and the help was there when we needed. With about 3 mins to spare, we escaped the Boardwalk!! Kids said it was their favorite part of the trip - besides the Showboat waterpark! THANKS, ESCAPE ROOM AC...you've created escape room junkies, which is a parent's dream if it gets them off video games and phones!"
"Amazing escape room with very challenging puzzles. First time we didnt escape, so close, down to the last clue! Paul was a great game master at the end telling us what me missed. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the rooms soon!"
"I would not recommend AC escape room service to anyone. They are focused on selling, not on providing a good experience. My 9-year-old son is in a gifted program, and we decided to give him an escape room as a gift. Administrator recommended a room for children and said that it's suitable even for young children. It turned out not to be the case. The room was very difficult, and my son was unable to solve a single puzzle. He was very disappointed and lost confidence in himself. The staff said that we could have solved the puzzles for him, but that would have been unfair. We wasted an hour, and had no results to show for it. We paid $90 for two people, and it was a waste of money. We are disappointed with the service and will not recommend it to anyone. Conclusion: The service is focused on selling, not on providing a good experience. The appropriate room was simply occupied. Here are a few tips for parents who are planning to visit this service: Do not trust recommendations from staff if they seem too good to be true. If you see that the room is too difficult for your child, do not be afraid to refuse to play."
"My wife, son, and I visited and did the "Casino Cage" escape room. It was an amazing experience, and we just barely made it out with about 38 seconds to spare. This room suggests 6-8, but it was possible with just the 3 of us. The room was really well thought out with tons of different challenges and the hint system was great. The staff were all incredibly friendly and were great to work with. I definitely would not hesitate to come back and do another room!"
"This room had unique puzzles of varying difficulty. The decorations and props were above average. We had a lot of fun. Jason, Paul and Talia were so awesome on ensuring we had a good time!! Was able to win big at casino to pay for it so it was a good day."
