"I’ve been coming to Tara nails for years because they’re aren’t many options. It’s always extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. If there was an option to give them a 0 rating I would. They don’t respect appointment times and don’t even communicate with you about having to wait or how long the waiting time is. They just keep you waiting and avoid eye contact on purpose to not answer basic questions about wait time. And if you say something about waiting they really don’t care if you stay or leave. I wish I could say nicer things but I cringe every time I have to go for a pedicure."

"If there was a 0. This 1 worker, can’t be called technician, was so incompetent, unskilled and rude. Just a plain simple regular polish…..oh you don’t have the same color gel for my mani to match my pedi, no prob, just the same polish then…and rounded off edges with a squared off top please, shame about the gel color, like a couple weeks ago, but no biggie, should last the final week of my 3 week vacay. What a disaster. From her under the breath disgruntled mumblings to clearly making disparaging remarks in another language to her collegue, to the obvious hurried now jerky haphazard movements on my hands…...oh well…this is Astoria, was beyond easy to settle into another lovelier more upscale, cleaner, salon with upgraded services, professional attentive staff, for a more pleasant experience. So happy to relax and settle into my new spot whenever my hands feet shoulders and back need more than my husband's expertise. Forget NTN…….go to 23rd Ave or Crescent Street, as I discovered, sooo many better options….Btw…Club Med always fab…. Guadeloupe and Martinique, islands in the French Antilles…..breathtaking!"

"Great service , all the workers are extremely kind and considerate. Pedicures are always great .I get a gel pedicure every time and they last up to a month and half without even chipping or anything. Dip powder came off within a week which was kind of a bummer because it was a little pricey (for me at least) I haven’t tried other services there other then dip and pedicure but overall I will continue to come and have my services done here!"

"Service was good. Friendly and she did the design that i wanted to. It just it didnt last long. I went there on Wed 14, 2021 and it felt off some of my nails. I paid $81 (tips not incld)"
